My caregiver is absolutely amazing. She has great manners, is friendly, and works hard. That is the ONLY reason this gets 2 stars instead of 1.
I'm a state pay client and even though the state of Washington pays for 100 miles of travel a month, the company only automatically approves 60 miles and it's EXTREMELY difficult to get more miles approved.
The staff are generally polite but they use an AI scheduling and answering machine and it's very hard to manage even as an 18 year old who's generally tech savvy, imagine how hard it is for 80 year old clients!
My caregiver's schedule changes last minute (the company changes it without alerting me or my caregiver) so sometimes she's abruptly staying an extra 30 minutes to an hour with only 1 day to change my plans. How can I plan anything without a set schedule?
My caregiver sometimes drops me off for appointments at the end of her shift and the app won't allow her to clock out when she's not at my house, so we end up having to go through a tedious process of calling the company to let them know, but my caregiver still gets reminder texts and calls repeatedly by the AI answer machine the company uses.
I'm also frustrated that as a state pay client I have extremely limited places that I can have my caregiver take me, the packet the company gave me did not disclose this and made it seem like quite the opposite. It was an unpleasant suprise and I only found out by calling the company. These introductory packets need updated.
Overall I haven't had any problems with my caregiver and their staff are polite but their policies make working with this company frustrating.
