I’ve been going to FitLab for nearly 3 years now. I absolutely love it! All of the instructors are wonderful and fully accommodate everyone in the class. They all care deeply about how your body is feeling and want you to get the most out of each session, in addition to caring about each member personally. Each class is only six people, so the instructors can really pay attention and provide feedback to each person. My classes at FitLab always make me feel better both physically and mentally after I leave. It is a very intentional type of strength training that’s also very fun. I highly recommend Fitlab!!

I found Fitlab in 2017 on the recommendation of a physical therapist and came in with no experience; now, almost 10 years later, it’s hard to imagine a time when I didn’t look forward to coming to the studio every week. I’m so grateful to Kate, Cilla, and the team for working with me to build strength, both physical and mental, and for helping me learn how to trust my body again after some tough injuries. Their expertise is evident in every session, but what makes Fitlab so special is the patience, encouragement, and genuine care they bring to each person and every movement even in the group classes. If you are lucky enough to come across Fitlab when they are accepting new clients, consider it a sign - they are truly the best!

Really great instructors with lots of knowledge and very supportive. Small classes give you lots of attention and they are so encouraging for people with all different fitness levels. Kate is phenomenal. My one issue was that I signed up for a membership and didn't know it was a 3 month commitment until I had signed up and one of the owners then told me - there is nothing in writing about that on their website and it wasn't mentioned in any emails presenting the different options. It's a small business so I understand that admin related issues are harder to stay on top of and it's possible I'm a one-off case of this happening but I wish there had been more clarity upfront as I moved and lost a lot of money.

We apologize about any miscommunication with the membership; the 3 month policy is in the contract that you receive when you sign up, but it can be easy to miss. I will be in touch about issuing a refund for your unused classes, and we will be sure to make that more clear on our end moving forward.
NEVER LEAVE YOUR CREDIT CARD INFO! I originally booked an intro class, which they claimed to be $70 on their website but in fact charged me $112. They said they could not refund the difference and recommended me to do the Great Start Package of 3 classes. For this package, they said they could only charge me in person when I visit next time for the class and asked me to leave me credit card info. I missed the first scheduled class and didn’t go in person. They went straight and charged me the full package amount of $235 without my authorization. They said since I missed the first class, that class is removed from my package. Essentially they charged me the full amount without notifying me and without me receiving the service at all. Is that not absurd? I recommend nobody going to this studio for their unscrupulous business practices!
Hi David, An intro session is advertised at $77; you purchased a private session instead for $112 which I absolutely would have refunded if asked. We also require a credit card in order to hold your spot with an instructor so that if an appointment is missed, the instructor is still paid fairly for their time. We charged you for the package that you requested with your instructor at your previous session, and subtracted one for the missed appointment. You also missed your appointment despite both text and email reminders, and I refunded you fully anyway, so I'm not quite sure why you still decided to leave us such a poor review. I apologize if there was any miscommunication on our end, and wish you luck on your Pilates journey in the future.

I don't know where to begin with my praise of this studio and its instructors because I frankly cannot say enough good things. My Pilates practice with Cilla has transformed the way I walk, move, and breathe. They say we are lifelong students in our Pilates journeys but Cilla stands out with a mastery that is unmatched––she is by far the wisest, most knowledgeable, and kindhearted instructor I've had the pleasure of learning from. She helped me bring greater awareness to my body and breath and her classes carried me through pregnancy, birth, and postpartum––I felt strong and well through it all thanks to her teaching. This is a real Pilates studio. Kate, the owner, has done a fantastic job with the studio and assembling a team of the very best instructors. Truly a beautiful space and refreshingly unpretentious––it doesn't need to put up a front because it speaks for itself. A maximum of six per class (so the experience leans semi-private), no music, non-toxic cleaning products, the finest equipment, and loaner socks (if you forget to bring socks, you won't have to buy a new pair because they will loan you a clean pair).

I can't recommend Fitlab Pilates enough! I used to take pilates classes frequently and enjoyed it so much, but I ended up moving and eventually found myself unable to find a studio that I clicked well with....until I found Fitlab. The environment, community and staff are very warm and welcoming upon entrance. The studio is beautiful, clean and spacious. I truly enjoy the pace/precision of the reformer classes and the individuality of each instructor. You can tell each class is planned and operated as such but allows for modifications or changes as necessary. Details like that assure me that every instructor is knowledgeable and an expert in their field. Coming here each week has felt so amazing and I am so happy to be back on the reformer.

Thanks to Kate and her amazing team including Cilla and Angie at FitLab, my physical condition feels better at 44 than in the previous 20 years. I’m forever grateful for their expertise and kindness in showing me how much Pilates could restore and improve my mobility, stability and strength, and enhance surfing, snowboarding, and even just living with better posture, and less back pain and discomfort.

I'm glad to have met Kate and FitLab. I've consistently experienced lower back pain, but after attending Kate's classes, my lumbar region and entire back feel much more comfortable. I am truly grateful for the positive impact Kate and FitLab have had on my well-being!
