Be extremely cautious booking with Five Star Vacation Home Rentals. Days after our checkout, well after their cleaning crew had turned over the home and other parties had access to the property, the management team submitted a damage claim through Airbnb accusing us of damaging a lounge chair. When we asked for verification, they failed to provide a single photo showing the alleged damage and instead escalated it within Airbnb, no timestamped evidence indicating the condition before or after our reservation, and no receipts or repair estimates; even after asked. Expecting guests to pay for unseen, undocumented wear or damage reported days after departure is unacceptable business practice. Especially a tear in the cushion which they stated cost upwards of $400. If you stay at any of their properties, protect yourself: film an exhaustive, timestamped video of every piece of furniture the moment you check in and the minute you leave. This company has shown they will levy charges without basic proof or accountability. EDIT in reply to owners response: There are zero photos on the Airbnb account of the person who booked it and I stayed under that we are able to view. Let's be truthful here, no photos were provided and instead you just escalated it internally to Airbnb. You also wait the two weeks so you can get a good review, then turn around and do things like this. Hence you flexing your "5000 groups where you have perfect reviews" If you would like, you can get in touch with me and forward those photos on showing the chair undamaged before the group stayed, then damaged after, with timestamps. Then I can reassess my review here and on other platforms. Also my name isn't Jamie.

This is one of the best AirBnBs I’ve stayed at. The house was exactly what was listed. Pool, basketball court and playhouse were greatly enjoyed. House is very roomy with a lot of space for a family. Waking up every morning to see deer in front yard was a nice treat for kids. The host was always responsive and even warned us about incoming weather issues. Extremely recommend this home and host. Thank you!

The place was so CUTE, the decor was very modern and updated, and it was very quiet. We had an absolute positive experience and would stay there again in a heartbeat!"

Great host. The house is in a walkable, safe neighborhood with a small grocery and a few restaurants just up the road. The house itself was clean & comfortable. Sauna and pool were the cherry on top. The labeling and digital house handbook were a OCD dream! We will definitely book again.

The Lake Austin lake house is an AMAZING. My son absolutely loved the treehouse and the pool. Super clean upon check-in and had all the amenities. We will definitely book with Five Star again!
