Visitors generally praise the botanical garden's lush vegetation, diverse bird species, and educational tram tours, noting that animal encounters like feeding flamingos provide engaging family experiences. However, recurring criticisms highlight perceived high costs for limited animal viewing, with several reviewers describing enclosures as too small for the species housed. Additionally, low-rated feedback frequently cites poor customer service interactions and confusing operational policies regarding weather-related closures.

SO much fun! Beautiful, lush green gardens, and the animals are all very well taken care of. We did the flamingo VIP encounter with Miranda which was so worth it! The otters were amazing and sooooo darn cute!! Loved every minute of the several hours we were there!
Beautiful surroundings. Miranda the Flamingo keeper was so friendly and awesome- we really enjoyed the flamingo encounter with her. What a great experience and she very obviously had the animals best interest as her top priority. The otter feeding was the cutest thing ever! And quite educational Some of the enclosures felt very small- the alligators, bears and turtles. And the panther and bobcat were doing a lot of stress pacing and I personally felt could use some more enrichment but overall I think flamingo gardens does a great job and would definitely visit again.
I had a great time! Went on the tram tour and took tons of pictures. I loved the house tour and the gift shop.
Great little botanical garden with some cool birds. We took about three hours to tour the property, take a tram ride, and feed the flamingos, ibis and other birds. Definitely recommend this not for profit for a nice little afternoon
Beautiful place to visit all the animals, feed them, and explore the grounds. The flamingos and other birds eat straight from your hands. Very fun and the tram/shows are nice and educational.
Nice laid back place to visit. Loved learning the history and seeing the animals and gardens.
Un sitio muy interesante para conocer gran cantidad de especies.
We took the VIP private tour and it was worth every penny! Johanna was great and spent 3 hours giving us a wonderful and informative tour. We walked through shaded paths that wind through a massive collection of rare, exotic, and native subtropical plants under a cooling canopy of ancient oak trees draped in Spanish moss. It was so peaceful, scenic, and family-friendly. Not only are the beautiful gardens, but the are a refuge for over 90 species of permanently injured or non-releasable native Florida wildlife, including flamingos, alligators, bobcats, otters, and eagles. There is a narrated Tram Tour, Wray Home Museum, an on-site snack bar, large gift shop, and daily educational wildlife encounter shows. 5 stars, highly recommend!!
Beautiful place
