I recently worked with Floor Coverings International to change the carpet on my first floor, which was over 10 years old, to new luxury vinyl. Vitalii was extremely helpful — he reached out for a consultation and brought vinyl samples to my place. The project was completed in 5 hours, with a reasonable price and great quality. Looking forward to working with FCI again in the future!

Berial, replacing 10+ year-old carpet with new luxury vinyl is quite the refresh! I’m really happy you found something you loved without having to make the flooring decision harder than it needed to be. Thanks for sharing the photos and for already thinking of us for the next project. We’d be happy to work with you again!

We had a wonderful experience with Floor Covering International Shoreline/Edmonds. We wanted our entire basement carpet removed and replaced with vinyl or laminate.
Bogdan did a great job explaining all of the options and pros and cons of each and spent 2 hours with us reviewing the flooring samples he brought with him. It was very convenient that they brought the floor samples to us so we didn’t have to go to a store and pick them. They gave us 3 reasonably priced quotes of different flooring options. This was also roughly the middle priced option of the 3 companies I looked at. The floor we ended up picking was Natural KORE LVP.
Scheduling was easy and quick - they fit us in within a few weeks of saying yes and the project only took 2 days, as promised.
The installers, Igor and Volodymyr, worked incredibly hard. They showed up at 10 the first day (they were very communicative when they were running behind) and worked until 6ish. They spent the day removing carpet and self-leveling the floor. There was a quick bump in the road when Bogdan called to let us know the installers might need 10-15 extra bags of (expensive) leveler, and wanted approval on that. Bogdan had warned us this might happen because it’s hard to predict what’s under carpet. The installers showed us where the extra leveling was needed. We gave the approval but then lucked out because they only ended up using 5 extra bags of self-leveler.
Day 2 they showed up at 8 and they barely took any breaks before they finished at 8:30pm. They installed the new floors and baseboards and put our furniture back.
We are so happy with our new floors! They look and feel great. Bogdan even came back and did a final walkthrough with us a few days later.
We had a very positive experience.

Jennifer, thank you for putting so much care into sharing your experience, and for all the before, during, and after photos. We loved seeing this basement come together, and I really appreciate you recognizing Bogdan for the time and guidance he gave you, as well as Igor and Volodymyr for the long days and attention they brought to the installation. There are always a few unknowns hiding under old carpet, so I’m especially glad you felt informed and included when the extra leveling came up. Most of all, we’re happy you love the Natural KORE floors and how they feel in the space. Thank you for trusting us with such a big part of your home.

Mark and his team are fabulous to work with for our project. Mark was responsive from the first time I reached out and worked to ensure they could accommodate our timeline. The hardwood I was trying to match was no longer being made (from 2017), but he was able to find an almost perfect match. His team who scheduled and completed the installation were just as great. Again very responsive and communicated what to expect and when. Andre was our installer and he was fantastic and did superb work. The new hardwood flooring looks like it was always there and we are extremely satisfied. I 100% recommend Floor Coverings International, Mark and his team will ensure you have the best service experience and get the floor you are looking for!

J, thank you for such a thoughtful review and for sharing your excellent photos. Finding a close match for discontinued hardwood from 2017 was a big part of this one, and I’m so glad the new flooring blends in like it was always meant to be there. Thanks for giving Andre a shoutout, too. I really appreciate you trusting my team with your home and your timeline.
