The staff at Florida Eye Specialists was great, friendly and professional. Dr Lieb explained the results of my eye tests and made sure I understood my alternatives for treatment. I would highly recommend them.

STOP! READ THIS BEFORE TRUSTING YOUR VISION TO THIS ORGANIZATION.
Based on my personal experience, I would not recommend trusting this organization with your eye health.
I was dealing with cataracts, deteriorating eye health, and progressive vision loss. Eventually, my retina detached, leaving me completely blind in my left eye for months. It took a four-hour surgery to restore my sight.
My greatest concern is the apparent lack of preventive and proactive care. Why wasn't the possibility of earlier intervention discussed or recommended before my vision deteriorated so severely? I believe patients deserve clear communication, appropriate recommendations, and a proactive approach to protecting something as precious as their eyesight.
Unfortunately, my experience with the scheduling department only added to my frustration. Its inefficiency cost me a significant portion of my morning. Rather than receiving a sincere apology, an acknowledgment of the inconvenience, or any meaningful attempt to resolve the situation, I was left even more disappointed.
Between my concerns about the quality of care, the lack of proactive communication, and the poor administrative experience, I made the decision to seek care elsewhere.
Your eyesight is irreplaceable. Ask questions, advocate for yourself, and never hesitate to seek a second opinion when you feel your concerns aren't being addressed.

The experience Florida Eye Specialists & Cataract Institute was excellent. I was taken right on time and specialist who conducted the initial checks on my eyes was very professional. Also, she provided very clear instructions and comments on my eyes during the various tests. Once her review was completed, Dr. Perez reviewed the results of the initial tests and then focused on the areas of concern. He was very professional and clear on the condition of my eyes. He provided further information on what I should do before my next appointment in 2026. A very thorough review.
