Went to a birthday party here. Friend brought her own cake for her daughter who had allergies . They wouldn't let them use the cake they had special made for her. They had to use the food Lion cupcakes this place provided instead. Birthday girl had to wait until after her own party to eat cake outside. Overall the experience was ok. For a bunch of 6/7 yo it was entertaining and safe. The entire cake incident makes not a place I'd recommend especially the price you pay for a party. Edit to add,-ask the white lady with tattoos that ran the party why she wouldn't allow the cake. Also, it's possible they only used the food Lion bags to carry in the items. It's possible they reused the food Lion box the pasta came in too... But sure. I'm just a bot assuming things. Pic for proof? Bet.

This has been determined to be a complete scam review run by a company that reaches out and talks about the same bad messages it writes and tries to get you to pay for their fraudulent Google review clean up company. Look at the spelling of this persons name. We have placed the company and this email under investigation and are doing whatever we can to stop . No person with this name has ever entered our building and the fact they would try to mislead the public about our local community business to try to force us to buy their services is unfortunate and we will do anything in our power to hold this company accountable in tackle for these false reviews.

“I’m going to have my birthday party here again next year” My six year old daughter said she wanted a cooking class birthday party. I couldn’t have been happier to find Flour Power and that cooking class birthday parties were a thing that existed at her age. The two instructors were fantastic, doing a great job of managing all eleven girls who came and making sure they were all engaged and having fun. I was shocked that no support was needed from any of the parents at pretty much any point. The food was what you’d expect a bunch of six and seven year olds to make, but they had the best time making it. My expectations were well exceeded.

I could not be more impressed with Flour Power Cary Parkside, and with Jacob, the owner! My 10 year old, baking obsessed, daughter participated in camp last summer and absolutely adored it! She learned so much, and had the best time interacting with her instructors and classmates. This year, Flour Power is the only camp that my daughter wanted to return to. She is thrilled to be going back next week! Her cousin is coming into town last minute, and really wanted to join in. I called and asked about getting my niece a spot with my daughter and they were SO accommodating! Jacob, was extremely patient with my spotty cell service, and did everything he could to make sure that my niece was included. An amazing experience for parents and kids alike. We are so lucky to have camps and people like this in our area!

This location must be under new ownership. My daughter used to love camp here, but this summer when she attended it was different. The kids said they did not participate as actively in the recipes as they have in the past. More just watched counselors cook. Also, they said they played a lot of YouTube throughout the day. They used to watch a little bit of a movie in the afternoon, but that was it. I don’t pay for camp for my kids to watch YouTube all day. This camp is so expensive and it used to be worth it, but not anymore.

Hi Teresa, so sorry for the late reply. We really wish we could get these comments in person and when changes are noticed, but understand that is not always comfortable for everyone to speak up. I am the owner and have been for over two years and in fact, the prior owners still work with us on staff. Our camps only are supposed to allow a short 1/2 hour chef challenge show per day and if that goes over, we actually appreciate the feedback. It’s so in da like we fell short of expectations and by all means, we are a cooking studio first and foremost so we did talk to our staff and let them know Again the policies we stand by so we are so very sorry for your experience. I will reach out personally and would love the opportunity to offer a no cost camp of equal value in hopes you will see that the many years you did enjoy were more the norm than this unfortunate experience. We appreciate you and thank you for the feedback!

My son really enjoyed his cooking class here! The business was clean. The staff we interacted with during class were friendly. Unfortunately, communication could be better — the business isn’t very responsive when it comes to answering the phone or returning voicemails. I also stopped in once during an off time and wasn’t greeted and there was an awkward pause before I received help, which didn’t sit well with me. The owner and a young male were there at that time. Overall, a good experience for the classes themselves, but customer service could use improvement.

Katrina, we’re so glad your son enjoyed the cooking class and appreciate your kind words about our staff and space. We apologize for any communication issues you experienced - this is not the experience we want for our customers. As for your visit during an "off time", our staff was present and available to help, and we regret that the interaction felt awkward, though no discourtesy was intended. We stand by the quality of our classes and the care we put into our students’ experiences, and we appreciate your perspective as we continue to grow.

We celebrated our daughter's 9th Birthday here last Saturday, and we had the best time! The staff were very accommodating and attentive. The decorations are very cute, and the cooking space was very clean. My daughter 's friends loved the food they made, and everyone had fun. I would definitely recommend this for any child who likes to cook.

We LOVE FLOUR POWER at Cary! Clean open space, and the staff always interacting with the kids. They explain a lot of fact about fruits and vegetables. My picky eater has even tried vegetables at flour power!!!

We had my daughter’s 3rd birthday at Flour Power and had an amazing experience. There were 4 (maybe 5) employees to our 13 party guests age 2-5. They did a great job of keeping the kids entertained and engaged, which is impressive with this age group. The kids made ice cream, and they then made the ice cream into dirt cups. They also chopped ham and grated cheese for a little croissant that they all enjoyed. The place was decorated in a super cute way so we didn’t feel we needed to decorate on our own, although they did allow that option. We just showed up and everything was ready to go, would definitely recommend for any age group!

I recently organized a team offsite at Flour Power Cooking Studios and had a fantastic experience! Mike was incredibly helpful throughout the planning process, making everything run smoothly. Our group participated in the "beat the clock" themed event, which was a huge hit—everyone had so much fun and enjoyed working together in a unique, hands-on way. I highly recommend Flour Power Cooking Studios for any team-building event or group activity. Thanks again to Mike and the team for making our offsite event memorable!
