I had a Sewer backup in my basement and called Flow King out to jet my line. Sylvio was the technician they sent out and he was absolutely phenomenal. 10/10 customer service skills on Sylvio which is a rare sight in 2026. He was able to get my line clear and write up a report for the county about how I needed a lateral repair. I was dumb and never got with STL county on getting this lateral repaired like Sylvio told me and had my sewer backup again. I called Flow King again and got Sylvio back at my house who diagnosed the problem as a completely collapsed lateral line that needed emergency repair from the county. He coordinated with the county to come out and fix my lateral line and they were out that same week to dig up my yard and replace the line. Everyday he checked-in with me to notify me of the progress of the emergency repair approval. There is no way I could have gotten this fixed as quickly w/out the help of Sylvio. Give this man a raise!

I was told one amount for a service fee out of area, $120. They came out for one problem, Frozen water line under my house. I told them it was a crawl space under the house. They acted like they would solve the problem . They were here for about maybe an hour and took pictures apparently showing us, what...I dont know unless I was under the house and knew what I was looking at. I was charged $795.00 for them to tell me my water line was frozen and I would need to wait for it to thaw out. They did absolutely nothing. Fixed nothing. Just charged me $795 for driving to my house. Three men came out. What a rip off!!! Edit. 2/3/2026. This explanation by the company is full of lies. They were here maybe sn hour. No it's not hazardous underneath of my house I have pictures how clean it is. Complete lies. After floating Rooter left someone else crawled underneath of there and took pictures and showed me how clean it is there isn't anything under there what they're saying. All lies. I did not decline the $300 refund. Who would do that. Just more Lies. Go ahead and just refund me the $300 sir thank you. 7/12/26 Still waiting for that $300 partial refund Sir you claim to have offered me that you obviously had no intention of refunding.
We’re truly sorry that you feel disappointed and we’d like to clarify what took place during your service call. You contacted our company during a major snowstorm and explain that you were located well out of our normal service area. We were upfront that this would require an out of area dispatch fee. Our standard dispatch fee is 125 and due to the distance and hazardous conditions we quoted an additional 125 to send three licensed technician to your property. You approved this prior to our arrival once on site our team assessed your crawlspace, which is not climate controlled and was filled with active sewer, water deteriorated, structural supports and 0° temperatures conditions that qualify as hazardous confined space entry despite this our technician spent over three hours total thoroughly inspecting and documenting the issue. We discovered that your home has galvanized, waterlines and cast-iron sewer lines that are severely deteriorated and actively weak unfortunately, this type of system failure cannot be repaired with a simple spot fix a broad a replacement is required to resolve the problem safely correctly. We took photos, documented everything and explained our findings to you in detail your invoice consisted of a $250 out of service Dispatch and a $495 diagnostic labor. The total is 745. We also noted on your invoice of the full amount would be credited towards a permanent repair if you choose to move forward with us you paid the invoice without issue at the time of the service. After our team left you contacted us upset and understandably frustrated. We attempted to de-escalate the situation and even offered a $300 refund as a Goodwill gesture which you declined. We understand how stressful plumbing emergencies can be especially during an extreme weather and we regret that the situation couldn’t be resolved with a simple repair.our team, acted professionally documented a hazards and failures present and provided honest transparent findings so you can move forward with the proper situation if you’d like to discuss the next steps or review the documentation we provided we are happy to help.

I have used Flow King many times. On rental property, my home, children's homes and recommended them several times. They performed work such as: stopped us drain, install sewer laterals, replace faulty hose bibs, repair lift station, pump septic systems, and on. They have been very responsive and timely along with fair rates and courteous personnel. Personally they are the only service I call when I need some work done.

Great company with knowledgeable and personable plumbers. Called Flowking because I was afraid I had a collapsed sewer line in a rehab property I purchased. After jetting out the line and clearing some tough debris I was unable to knock loose, they performed a camera inspection and eased my concerns by confirming the complete line was intact. They used specialized gadgets to locate and mark depth along with providing insight on plumbing concerns I had throughout the property. Silvio and Jerrod helped me out BIGTIME.
