Eat, Meditate, Socialize? Umm, YES! This free community event was right up my alley, and obviously the socializing was my favorite part LOL. Gurudhan was an awesome, welcoming host (fellow vegan bonus points!), and we kicked things off with an active Kundalini based meditation and gong relaxation, followed by a delicious Indian dinner from Star Indian with vegetarian and vegan options, plus some yummy chia seed pudding made by community member Shannon. Met some wonderful folks and left with nothing but good energy!
The studio itself is an unsuspecting beauty! Two large studios, lounge areas, super clean gender inclusive restrooms with amenities, and a COMMUNITY WALL loaded with local events, B2B partners and practitioner offerings. There are even rooms lining the halls where practitioners can rent space. FLOW clearly does more than yoga here. They’ve built community, and it shows! Adding this studio to the rotation.
Con - Parking was the only slight con , this studio is surrounded by parking lots and they’re all full ! So expect to drive around for a minute , you’ll find a spot just don’t expect to park rt in front of flow.
I was not a fan of this studio, not a welcoming atmosphere for newcomers and the deep chill class is definitely more of a *vibes* practice rather than actual stretching. The worst part is the non stop emails I received even after unsubscribing and saying I was not interested in returning here because of my experience.
Just wanted to join a yoga class with my father in law when he was visiting Austin. We loved the studio, our teacher Jazmin and the fact that the prices were so affordable! I will be back when my family's in town :)
Low quality class plus upsell pressure to purchase a subscription! This is like the planet fitness of yoga, in that they're making most of their money from people who don't show up!
Great studio, amazing teachers and such a welcoming environment. All the teachers bring their own approaches and there's always a new and interesting challenge to overcome. I have a great time in all the classes and always look forward to joining when I can.
Briana is amazing, super sweet and teaches a good class. It was the first time doing a beginner yoga that was actually beginner friendly for me. Unfortunately I don’t live close enough to justify the price. I took off a few stars because the site constantly crashes and it’s hard to sign up for the classes, then to cancel the membership it’s extremely hard. I had to email them and hope they got back to me since there isn’t an option on the site and no one answers the phone. Parking is super easy if you’re early.
Obsessed with everything about this place: staff are wonderful, class was atmospheric and transcendent, parking is accessible, and above all - the space feels warm and cozy.
However, it’s too good to be true- there was an influencer with full iphone tripod and microphone setup in a yin class 💔 I personally can’t bear to participate in classes with filming influencers. I’ll be back if they leave!
Flow Yoga North Loop has an amazing group of teachers and wide variety of class options for whatever vibe you’re looking for. The studio is very organized and well run. It’s great to have them in the neighborhood and I’m so exciting to be joining this community!
I had a great yoga class here, lead by Taylor C. All necessary props were available for free, as well as the option to bring your own. Staff were very welcoming and friendly. The studio was spacious, and there was plenty of parking available. I will definitely be returning in the future!
