Recently went in to pick up a used camera and everyone was very kind and encouraging. I believe Andrew was who helped me get sorted with the new-to-me camera. Great shop wonderful staff. I will definitely come back for all my photography needs!

My film camera broke while on a trip here, chris was super knowledgeable and helpful in guiding me to get the right one. Would highly recommend to come here if you are into photography as a hobby.
With a UK trip being planned for 2027, I had to do the unfortunate task of getting the passport. I thought I had a photo at the house, but of course, I couldn't find it when I needed it. I did a Google search and found focal point. I was nervous that they may not be fast in getting the photo done. But. I showed up and sure enough, I walked in was greeted and had the photo in the works within a few minutes. The facility is nothing short of impressive. Practically anything I could ever want regarding photography equipment and the staff was super knowledgeable on everything. Passport photo in hand, but a new spot I will absolutely be revisiting for all my photography needs.
What a great shop to work with. Bought a new Sony lens about 2 weeks ago, had done some research and pulled the trigger anyway. Tried it out for a few shoots and decided I didn't really like it so I took advantage of their generous return policy and took it back. First off, the people who work there are some of the friendliest people you will meet. The store is very well stocked for everything Photo whether it is camera, accessories, or even film developing. I brought the lens back and as they advertise, NO hassle return. It was inspected along with all original packaging etc. They said they were "sorry it didn't work out" and I walked out thinking why can't every business be so customer friendly like that. I drove 65 miles each way to do business with them based on previous reviews and will do so again when I need a different lens or Camera system. Thank you Focal Point Photography.
Hi Mike, thanks so much for the great review! Yeah sometimes a lens just isn't the right fit for whatever reason, and we'd much rather have you using gear you love than stuck with something that isn't perfect for your needs. Hope to see you again when you need something else in the future.

Absolutely the best. People are incredibly kind and knowledgeable. The film lab guy Chris is always so helpful, he's clearly passionate at what he does. Would recommend anyone and everyone in the Salem area to use these guys as their go to camera shop.
I was desperately looking for a Canon G7 X Mark III, so I called and asked to be put on the waiting list. In less than a week, I got a text saying it was ready for pickup. Since I live out of state, they shipped it to me instead. The staff was incredibly professional, and the whole process was smooth. Highly recommend!
Amazing customer service, beautiful collection of camera goods. Cheap film developing. I don’t want to go anywhere else from now on. I would trust them to with all my cameras. Perfect camera place, so glad I found you guys!!!
