Five stars for Fred he is the best mechanic I have ever met. Bill is ok but Fred is fire. Rumor has it he used to work for Porsche Yachts but now in his retirement he doesn’t like to brag too often. Fred could have saved the Titanic. He is #1 mechanic in all of the land. I am happy he taught bill a few things he’s ok too!!
Forge Pond Marine in Westford is excellent. Both Bill and Fred give sensible opinions backed by mechanical marine motor knowledge. The work performed on boats and motors is performed with care and pride. Bill answers your questions,is patient and he is proud of his business as he should be. FPM is convenient, quick, honest and reasonble. Highly recommend!

Bill is fantastic. He services my outboard every winter and whenever I have had issues he is honest and thorough and does great work.
Bill worked wonders for my old, 1976 Evinrude 75hp outboard. He is very knowledgeable, priced reasonably, and responsive. Another tell tale is his shop - it's clean and organized. You can tell he takes pride in what he does. He did a lot of work for me and all was done well. Above all else, Bill is friendly and was willing to walk me through the repairs, answering all of my questions. I'll be using Bill from now on for all repairs, refurbishing, and wrapping. I highly recommend him!

I called Bill a couple weeks back and told him I had a gear lube hose that was leaking. He told me to bring it in which I did on a Sunday night. Bill called me Monday morning to discuss the problem. Tuesday morning he called and said it was fixed. I couldn’t believe how quick he fixed it! He put the new hose in which was not easily accessible for a DIY job. He filled the gear lube oil and I picked up the boat Tuesday night and I plan to put it in the water next weekend. I’m really satisfied with the work, the price and Bill’s overall attitude to want to help. I would recommend Forge Pond Marine based on this experience.
