Fort Worth Country Memories is a beautiful venue and Lynae and Mark are awesome to work with. Communication was clear and quick. This is the 2nd time we have held an event at the very unique venue.

My wife and I had a wonderful experience having our wedding reception at Fort Worth Country Memories. We have zero complaints and would highly recommend this venue to anyone.
Hello- I am writing this based on my second hand experience with Forth Worth Country Memories. My military son and his now wife went into contract with the venue April 22, 2026 for an August 8, 2026 wedding. He was unexpectedly ordered to report to San Diego and is not able to leave his command for the event and other festivities as originally planned. They were required to cancel after it was nearly paid in full.
The venue will not refund a single dollar as per their cancellation policy. The policy requires a 200 day advance notice. First - really!? 200 days? Second - she signed the contract less than 200 days from the date of the event.
The venue offered to reschedule for free. Or if someone booked the venue, they could get a full refund. There's literally ONE event in all of August.
We feel this is just dirty. The venue put forth zero effort and worked zero hours towards the planning of the event. They simply collected their money and said - too bad! Wouldn't it be nice to get paid for doing nothing?
Any wedding gifts they were to potentially receive didn't happen and their entire savings is now gone because they had to pay for a wedding that didn't happen and furnish their new home.
Before you go into contract with this venue, just understand they seem to have no sympathy for unplanned events. And to a man who is serving and protecting our COUNTRY! So sad.
Curious if this has happened before.

As a veteran myself, I set up a special program available only to military personnel. We permit all funds already paid to be applied to any open date in the next two years with no change fees or penalties. We do this without regard to the amount of notice given to us. This is an offer that you will not find at most venues. The 200 day cancellation policy applies to all non-military clients. This is the average amount of time it takes us to rebook a specific date.
This wedding was canceled less than 2 months in advance. They had paid $1010 toward a total cost of the $3050 package that they selected, leaving a balance due of $2040. Most would not consider this as this nearly paid in full as stated in your review.
When the offer to reschedule for free was rejected, we opened the date on our calendar with a promise to give them any amount that we could recover.
This is not something you will find at other venues, and we do not offer this to non-military clients.
To sum it up, we offered them the option to reschedule for free, refund the total if we were able to book their date, and dismissed the remaining $2040 balance of the contract signed.
The offer to use 100% of the funds paid to reschedule in the next two years still stands.
Sorry you feel that we made no effort to help.
We loved having our wedding at Fort Worth Country Memories. Everything was taken care of and the site was beautiful! We loved the animals and loved that it was a great experience.

My husband and I had a sequel wedding here and it was perfect . The atmosphere is for absolutely any one , any age . Lynae was very helpful throughout planning and coordinating. An awesome bonus is having the option to do an inside or outside ceremony up to the day of in case of crazy Texas weather . And of course , the animals are what sold it for me.

Went there for buddies wedding this weekend! Place was awesome, a great set up & beautiful all around! Even after having crazy storms the night before, place was in perfect shape! They have a Zebra & a few mini horses on property you can pet/feed for a bit! Owner’s were very nice people as well! Some of us even got to meet a 1.5 month old baby mini horse & its momma who were just adorable! Such a fun experience, would recommend 10/10 times!

We held my son’s Celebration of Life here, and it came out beautifully. Lynae and her team were very attentive and caring. We got a lot of compliments on the venue from those who were there. I definitely recommend if you are looking for a venue that has a nice inside and outside space for your celebration
