I’m here to pour my heart out because of how much I loved having April as our wedding photographer.
When Jonathan and I were looking for a photographer, we wanted someone with a beautiful style who could bring an artistic perspective to our wedding day, but what we got in April was so much more than that.
The three words I would use to describe her are genuine, intelligent, and honest.
April is genuine in a way that immediately made me want to be her best friend. She took the time to really get to know us and because of that, she was able to capture our personalities in a way that felt completely authentic. That connection is what makes wedding photos so meaningful to me. At both our rehearsal dinner and wedding reception, April made sure that we still felt celebrated and loved in between all of the socializing. It was refreshing to have someone being as supportive as she was, without even having to ask.
April’s artistic ability was so impressive to me. She came prepared with creative ideas to try and new photo styles to take, which all seemed to work out perfectly. I call this her artistic intelligence. She is constantly creating new visions and finding inspiration from places and moments you would never expect or notice, and how she incorporates that into her work is just genius.
And then there’s her honesty, which was a god sent. She wasn’t afraid to tell me if I was making weird looks, or if I needed tone down the facial expressions, because well, she just gets it. Of course she wanted to capture our joy and candidness, but she also instinctively knew that I didn’t want to see my nostrils flaring so big you could see my brain in every photo.
If you’re looking for someone who will not only deliver stunning photos but also make you feel completely seen, celebrated, and cared for throughout your wedding day, April is your person. We truly couldn’t imagine having anyone else capture one of the best days of our lives. April, we love you!

From the very beginning, April was so involved, intentional, and genuinely fun to be around. She made us feel comfortable in front of the camera and brought so much creativity to every part of the experience.
I cannot recommend doing bridals and the full wedding photography experience with her enough! April has an incredible artistic eye and consistently captures moments in ways that feel both editorial and deeply emotional. Our wedding gallery is full of some of the most beautiful photos I’ve ever seen, and I don’t think I will ever stop getting compliments about it. She couldn’t have captured our day more perfectly. Every image reflects the atmosphere, emotion, and energy of the day so authentically.
What I love most is that when you look through our photos, you can truly feel what it was like to be there. You can see every laugh, tear, and meaningful glance, while still maintaining the timeless, artistic quality that makes her work so special. April is exceptionally talented, and we will treasure these photos for the rest of our lives!

It was like this was her first time shooting at this location, when they apparently shoot there all the time. A shot list was not followed. The packages are expensive for what you get for the quality and professionalism. So many photos shot at 45 degree angles. Communication is poor. My photos arrived over two month's late with no explanation until I asked. They were aware they would be late but did not alert us. Post production was minimal, like a preset was applied and shipped out. Did not prepare for lighting with appropriate lens filters. I've seen good work from freckled fox but the inconsistency is glaring.
