My introductory dance lesson at Fred Astaire Dance Studios in Menomonee Falls was absolutely amazing! I learned the basics of four popular social ballroom dances and enjoyed every moment. My instructor, Arthur, was kind, patient, and incredibly encouraging—he made me feel comfortable and confident from the very beginning. I walked in curious and danced out excited! I can’t wait to begin my six weeks of lessons! 💃🏾❤️

My fiancé and I have had a wonderful experience at Fred Astaire MF. The teachers, Azure, Arthur, & Shem (to name a few), have been incredible! The entire studio is kind & welcoming every time we come in for a lesson. Coming to the studio is my favorite part of the day!

My daughter Gretchen has been dancing at this studio for over eight years. They continue to challenge her to complete each piece of her dance program. They treat the entire family as family. I’ve been with Fred Astaire since February 2025. I’m amazed at the transformation of body, mind, and soul that occurs through dancing. I’m 76 years old which means you can start at any age.

A Life-Changing Experience at Fred Astaire Menomonee Falls

I promised myself I would share how truly transformative my experience has been at the Fred Astaire Dance Studio in Menomonee Falls. The owners, Magdalena and Shem, are more than just instructors—they are on a heartfelt mission to make a difference in people’s lives.
For me, dance has become more than movement; it’s therapy. After riding an emotional roller coaster, the guided support I’ve received here has offered a powerful, professional path to healing. Honestly, I couldn’t have found a more effective or joyful prescription.
Physically, I’ve gained better balance, greater flexibility, and stronger core muscles—all essential for fall prevention. Mentally, I’m sharper than ever. Learning routines, posture, styling, and choreography is stimulating and fun—and might even help delay cognitive decline or dementia.
And emotionally? The connections I’ve made through dance have lifted me out of isolation and brought joy back into my life.
If you’re even thinking about trying dance—do it. Yes, it costs more than a community center class. But when you compare it to the cost of staying home alone, losing your mobility, or someday needing memory care, this is an investment in your health, your heart, and your happiness.
Quality isn’t cheap. And the cheap stuff? It’s not the same quality.
This is worth every step.
