They take all kinds of electronics, working or not. They fix what they can and sell parts and working gear for cheap. Recycle what they can’t sell. Keep stuff out of the landfill.
"Free Geek Arkansas" benefits the entire NWA region by accepting virtually all types of e-waste such as in my case an old 55" TV. In addition to keeping e-waste out of landfills, their services include "wiping" personal data off hard drives on returned PCs and a they have a collection of used, even vintage electronics for sale. The place carries the vibe of an old school tech-nerd Radio Shack on steroids feel. Who knew visiting a registered non-profit business dedicated to ethical e-waste disposal could be so much fun!
Love this place. Thought I was priced out of my favorite hobbies until I started hanging out here. All the volunteers are just the best people and they are doing great things that no one else is doing for this community!
Free Geek Fayetteville is an absolute gem for the local community! This place has changed a lot since my last visit. You can really tell the leadership and volunteer team members put a lot of love into reviving it. I’ve got a feeling something exciting is on the horizon 😉 Wishing you all the best!

This is one of those hidden gems that everyone should know about. Imagine a goodwill with reasonable prices and its 100% electronics and that is Free Geek. From laptops 3D printers and PC's to cameras and 8 tracks they have just about anything you could possible want or need. Oh and dare I mention the ENTIRE ROOM of power cords for any device you could imagine. This is not even touching on the amazing staff that all volunteer here. I truly hope this becomes a place that grows and thrives for years to come.
