Frequency Tattoo Company

Everyone at Frequency Tattoo made this such an amazing and unforgettable experience. You can really feel how connected everyone in the shop is and how much they genuinely care about one another and their clients. There’s such a positive, welcoming energy there. I felt the love from the moment I walked in, and on top of that, everyone there is an incredibly talented artist. I got a mandala tattoo with Liz, and she did an amazing job. She created a beautiful custom design and took her time making sure everything was perfectly centered and positioned before we started. She was incredibly gentle throughout the entire tattoo, and somehow made the experience almost painless! The final result is absolutely amazing and I couldn’t be happier with it. Thank you Liz and everyone at Frequency for making the whole experience so special. I will definitely be back for another tattoo in the future!

Have gotten multiple tattoos from Bird and they always knock it out of the park. Most recent pieces were done at Frequency and the shop is very well maintained and in a very cute part of the city. Highly recommend checking it out.

One of the very best tattoo shops in the Philadelphia area! My wife has gotten two tattoos done by the owner John Howie so far and is scheduled to go back very soon! I absolutely love this shop. John has an all woman shop of artists which I thought was very unique! His tattoos that he's done on my wife so far is transforming her life because she had some really bad tattoos done on her before which needed to be covered. He's currently slated to do her actual coverups in early August but has done a Halloween Ouija Board piece on her arm that is absolutely stunning. The shop is very comfortable and stylish. I hands down think he's one of the best around and his shop is definitely one of my top 3 favorites in Philadelphia or the Philadelphia area! Thank you again John you are amazing!!

For years I had wanted to do something to make my old bat tattoos (1st pic) look like they belonged together/were part of the same world and I knew Bird was the artist I wanted to collaborate with. I’m a huge fan of their color and gradients work and have the utmost confidence in their skills. I trust their eye and they have never led me astray. I am so thankful I went to Bird for this and I am so so pleased with the results! I love my tattoos now 😭! THANK YOU, BIRD!! *Edit to add, listed price I paid was for the 3rd session (last pic) and NOT the entire collab!

I love it at Frequency tattoo! @birdtat did an incredible shoulder tattoo for me! Beautiful textured thorn heart, with highlights of red on the ends. Combined with delicate rose petals and wispy smoke. I’m in love! The atmosphere is so welcoming, and the artists are all so kind and talented! I would definitely recommend you get tattoos here!
