Frolic was so amazing! We had our ceremony and reception there and the entire space was absolutely beautiful! Our guests loved having the covered patio outside where they could go visit throughout the night! Kurt and Jenny were so friendly and helpful throughout the weekend and the full planning process. They let us come view the event several times and always responded to us quickly with any questions we had! The bride and groom suites are stunning and was a very nice amenity on our big day! I would definitely recommend to any future couples!!

Our daughter held her wedding at The Frolic on Aug. 22,2026. From the decorating to rehearsal, to the wedding and reception, this place was FANTASTIC! They went above and beyond what they needed to do to make her evening special. Every detail has been thought out. The outdoor patio area was my favorite and made for gorgeous sunset photos. I can’t say enough about the venue or the owners. I would give them 100 stars if I could. I highly recommend this venue!

There are not enough words to say how unbelievable this venue is. The details are incredible! It’s absolutely stunning! They did not miss a thing when designing this space. I can’t say enough about Kurt, Jenny and their entire staff! They were so wonderful to work with! They made the entire process so fun and seamless. I’m going to miss you guys! If you’re ever in Dubuque, please stop by!

This is a very good venue for most any event. We attended a wedding reception here. There is plenty of parking, the food was good (and hot), plenty of seating, clean and well organized. Side note: there are NO steps to enter the building

AMAZING!!!! Beautiful, well-thought-out, and convenient for all guests (wheelchairs and strollers too). So many details that made the day perfect. The bride's room and the groom's den are just what every couple wants. Convenient and spacious. Great areas for photos, both inside and out. Easy to get to (right off the highway). The owners are helpful and attentive to your needs. Highly recommend!

We had the most amazing experience at Frolic Event Center this past weekend! My wife and I couldn’t be happier with how it turned out. We can’t thank Jenny and Kurt enough for all their efforts in planning something like this! They were so patient, kind, and willing to accommodate to anything and everything we needed. The venue is beautiful, has a great amount of space as well! I would definitely this place to anyone! Thank you guys again for making this all happen!

The space is absolutely stunning! My daughter’s wedding was an incredible experience. The staff was exceptional and went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. I appreciate that everything was conveniently located in one place. Although it rained in the morning, the covered patio provided a great alternative to an outdoor wedding, saving us from any potential stress. We were grateful for the sunny afternoon, and the outdoor area was a huge hit! There were three beautiful arches, permanent seating with lovely chairs, and everything was beautifully coordinated. Thank you so much, Frolic, for providing a beautiful space to have one of the best days ever!

Fabulous venue. I was part of a very large wedding in June and the facilities and supporting staff could not have been more appropriate and accommodating. Loved the discrete police presence to ensure everyone had a good and safe time. I’m sure they will have many, many more successful events in this crispy new venue.

The frolic event center is truly a beautiful place where one can create great memories. The women's dressing room is absolutely stunning, a true feminine experience. Likewise, the men's dressing room is a true male experience, something like a man cave. Both inside and out of the facility is beautiful and the view is stunning as well off to the West.
