My dog is not a big fan of nail clipping. But they do a fantastic job. You can tell how much they care about the pups. Highly recommended.
- Price assessment: Great price

Customers frequently praise the efficient handling of nail trims and grooming services, noting friendly staff and helpful appointment reminders. Several reviewers highlight the facility's ability to accommodate senior or anxious pets with care. However, low-star reviews point to inconsistent communication, including unanswered phones and disorganized scheduling, as well as concerns about rough handling of animals during brushing. The business operates on a cash-only basis, a policy some customers found inconvenient upon arrival.

Love this place for a quick and confident nail trim for my pups! My dogs don't particularly like nail trims, but the Furballs team is so skilled and efficient that it's done in a flash! Reminder that they are cash only!

It has been quite a few months since our dog has recovered from her visit to Furballs and we decided to post our review from the last experience we had at Furballs. The owner Taylor met me when I dropped off Samantha (Sam) a 2 year old Labrador. The morning she was dropped off I noticed that it was only Taylor and one other groomer but 5 dogs in the grooming area and now 6 with Sam. She was there for a bath, trim, nails and grooming. We were called later that day to pick up Sam. When we picked her up, Taylor was quite busy, charged $85.00 as was the previous charge. I asked her how was Sam and really did not have time to say much other that her exact words which were "she will sleep tonight" and do you want to schedule your next grooming. No mention that she got into a bowl of treats and ate them all or anything else. We brought her home. Later that afternoon we noticed she was lethargic. Shortly thereafter Sam started to have multiple diarrhea attacks and it was so bad that she let loose 5 different times while roaming through the house and periodically stopping to go. It was awful. We then put her in her large crate while we were cleaning up the mess. She then had her worse D attack while in the crate; a mess of diarrhea all over her large bed, all over the side of the crate and all in her hair. Francesca decided to call fur balls to see if she was sick during the grooming process. That is when Taylor, who spoke with Francesca, explained for the 1st time that Sam got into treats that were left on a table and ate the entire bowl of whatever the treats were? Never did Taylor mention that to me when I picked up Sam but I do commend her for finally coming forward and letting us know what happened. That in itself was so wrong not to have let me know what what happened when I picked up Sam. Francesca called the vet and explained what happened. We were told to give her no food the rest of the day and to feed her boiled rice and boiled chicken for a few days. We also had to give her packages of ProPlan Fortiflora Probiotics and spread the granular over her her chicken and rice for 5 days. She was much better a week later but she suffered for several days until whatever she ate departed her system. Our dog Samantha is now fine, we recently had her hips both AKC and Penn hips xrayed which came out OK and we will be breeding her in June. Bottom line is that we will never recommend fur balls as this incident only happened because Sam was not properly watched or restrained to have consumed a whole bowl of treats while in the care of furballs. Totally irresponsible not to have advised me, the owner of what she ate when I picked up Sam. Lastly we paid $85.00 for the grooming but no hair was trimmed as was done the previous grooming at $85.00. We had to go to Tractor Supply to buy a new TSC Pet Bed at a cost of $62.00. Special food chicken and rice and ProPlan Fortiflora specifically for diarrhea was also an expense. We do not expect nor do we want any reimbursement. We only want to make other pet owners be aware of what happened and be sure you ask if all treats will be locked up or not in reach by dogs and if anything happens while your pet is in the care of furballs that they call you and not state "your dog will sleep tonight". We waited this long to write this review as we were scheduled to bring Sam in March, we always get a call to remind us of her appointment. When we did not receive notice or a call, we then knew she took us off her list, no phone call, no apology for what happened to our dog while in the care of furballs. Had we received a call to discuss her scheduled appointment and or to apologize for what happened or to see how Sam was doing we would never leave this review. Taylor's lack of empathy or follow-up to ask about Sam requires this review.
Hi Thomas, Thank you for taking the time to share your concerns. First and foremost, I want to express how truly sorry I am that Samantha became ill. At FurBalls, we care deeply for the well-being of every dog we look after, and it’s always upsetting to hear that one of our regulars hasn’t been well—especially one as sweet and playful as Samantha. My comment about her sleeping well was meant to reflect how much fun she had during her visit, and not to minimize your concern. Had I known that the dog biscuits she got into could lead to such a severe reaction, I absolutely would have brought it to your attention at pickup. As I mentioned during our call, treats are occasionally shared among dogs during their time here, and it’s typically not a cause for concern. That said, I understand now that this should have been communicated, and I sincerely apologize for the oversight. I do recall speaking with your wife several times afterward to provide ingredient information for your vet and to check in on how Samantha was doing. At the time of our last conversation, I was relieved to hear she was recovering well, and I wasn’t made aware of any continuing issues beyond that point. Customer satisfaction is something I take very seriously, and I genuinely wish I had known sooner that you were still upset. Had you reached out, I would have done everything I could to address your concerns more directly. Lastly, regarding the grooming schedule, I reviewed our communication records and confirmed that your next appointment was booked for May 7, as discussed at checkout in February. Samantha didn’t have a March appointment on the books, and I’ve always tried to be flexible in the past when rescheduling or accommodating changes you have needed to make —mistakes happen, and I understand that. Again, I’m sorry for any distress this situation has caused, and I appreciate the opportunity to respond. Wishing you and Samantha the best. Taylor
