This was my first time adopting a pet and the volunteers and staff made it so easy and comfortable. This rescue is amazing and the cat rooms are exceptional. I felt like all the cats were very happy and very well cared for and the volunteers were always interacting with them, you could tell they care a lot about these fur babies. Sylvester is an amazing cat and he has actually adjusted so well to our house that if you didn't know better you would think he had been with us his entire life. He is such a friendly and loveable little guy.

My friend and I were driving to Jupiter, and on the way in the middle of no where a small little dog appeared on the side of the road, scared but wanting attention. My friend and I pulled over and the little dog ran over to us immediately. So hungry and thirsty, wouldn't settle down until we could finally get it some food and water. She was so stinking cute and also wanted to cuddle, she looked like a little fox, so we called her foxie. There was no way i could take her back on my 3 hour home journey to SSC/East coast. she really needed some care. I googled and found this place and stopped by right before they closed, and they took her in without hesitation. I was so relieved for her. The folks here were so friendly and helpful and instantly took to her. I cried maybe because i was relieved for her. SO many thanks for taking her in.
