Fast and attentive service, great food, awesome vibe.
My favorite vegan restaurant in RI. Their barbeq spare ribs are amazing and I have yet to have a main dish I don't like. Sandwiches lean on the salty and acidic side so if that's not your thing get literally anything else and be absolutely delighted.
Exceptional food and service. Staff were knowledgeable about the dishes and able to advise us on our choices, and were on top of every little request. Our young daughter unfortunately broke a plate while trying to eat, and not only did they immediately rush over and clean it up, they also sent someone else over to make sure nobody had been hurt. The food was delicious! Quickly served but obviously freshly made, we enjoyed every single dish (vegan mac and cheese, pizza, sweet potato wedges, burger, onion soup, hearts of palm cakes - we wanted to try everything on the menu! Our sincerest compliments to the chef.
Love it, great food, lots of great choices too
Maybe we hit this place on an off night, but the food was not good. I got the tacos and my wife had the reuben, and we both had issues. The reuben was far too oily. The tacos had basically one ingredient—a tasty but too heavy “chorizo.” Could have used just a bit of the chorizo and some veggies to make it palatable. Started out with a fried plantain appetizer which was meh. All in all disappointing.
Loved this place! I’m a vegetarian of over 10 Years and this was one of the best “Reuben’s” I’ve ever had.
Not a quiet place like I prefer, but the food and service more than make up for it. Very sad they no longer take reservations as now I will always need a plan B. Ugh!
I was very disappointed with the customer service I received from Jenna. I called because it was my first time visiting and I had questions about the drinks they offered. Instead of helping me, she rushed me off the phone and told me that if I didn’t know what I wanted, I should hang up, figure it out, and call back because she didn’t have time to help me. I found that response extremely rude and unprofessional. When I arrived, I introduced myself as Sasha, the person who had called. Jenna responded, “Oh, you’re Sasha,” and then walked away, leaving someone else to assist me. It felt as though she held a grudge simply because I had asked questions over the phone. I was visiting from Maine and chose Garden Grille because I wanted to enjoy some good vegan food. Unfortunately, this interaction made me feel unwelcome and took away from what should have been a positive first visit. I reported the experience to the woman working behind the bar, and I hope management addresses it. Customers especially first-time visitors should feel comfortable asking questions without being rushed, dismissed, or treated disrespectfully.
The menu is so good- perfect for vegan, vegetarian and everyone else! The food is always good and consistent and they keep the menu staples while adding new and seasonal items. The BLT is delicious and my friend loves the hearts of palm “crab cake.” The prices are great too. Garden Grille never disappoints!
