Really great place to walk. Trails are mostly flat. Be careful of rocky or uneven footing in places. Some have a really narrow path so you'd have to wait if someone is coming your way or squeeze into the treeline. Trails range from short to really long. There are classes, events, and groups you can join, just need to check the website or find the paper flyers. Lots of birds and squirrels. Horse riding is allowed on certain trails. Dogs can be on trails too. The one downside is theres a neighborhood right next to the area. So you'll probably hear leaf blowers, kids screaming, or see people in their backyard. There's a pretty good sized parking lot you can use with overflow in the horse area. I would say give the place a try.

Class was great but checkout moves slowly. Standing outside in the 103° heat and dodging wasps for 25 min today was stressful.

I've enjoyed my walks there. I think its the only public place to take a walk in the woods in College Station. Some trail coverings are hard on the feet and some places are wet and muddy but it is a qalk in the woods. There are multiple path options and the paths are are wode enough for a vehicle.

Arts and crafts, books, education and so much more! Love this place! I will note that I met a lady there one time who said that someone had broken into her car and stole items of hers, so be sure to lock up.
