Reviewers frequently praise the clinic for its compassionate staff, thorough explanations, and ability to keep anxious pets comfortable during exams. Positive feedback highlights professional care for various services, including routine checkups, emergency visits, and boarding. However, several low-star reviews cite significant issues with billing accuracy, such as unexplained price increases and disputed charges, along with complaints about long wait times and perceived over-treatment recommendations.

I recently moved from out of state and brought my dog here for what should have been a routine visit. Instead, I spent 2 hours and 20 minutes there, most of it waiting.
Then came the recommendations for $468 worth of treatment. I ended up getting only some of it because I did not agree that my dog had a skin infection. She had scratched her back on something in the yard, and it was already healing and looked like a simple scab.
What really bothered me was the lack of transparency about the follow-up visits. They advertise the initial exam for $1, but the vet asked me to bring my dog back in two weeks without telling me that the follow-up would cost $53. I brought her back, was told everything looked great, and was then told to come back AGAIN in another two weeks. Once again, no mention that I would be charged another $53.
If you are specifically asking a client to bring their pet back for a follow-up, the cost should be clearly disclosed upfront. I shouldn’t have to find out about the charge after agreeing to come back.
The combination of the 2 + hour wait, aggressive treatment recommendations, and lack of transparency about follow-up costs left a very bad impression. It felt much more like a money grab than a straightforward veterinary visit.
I will never bring my dog back here. There are plenty of veterinarians who value their clients’ time and are upfront about their pricing.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We are sorry to hear that you left feeling frustrated, as that is certainly not the experience we want for any member of our veterinary family.
We do want to clarify a few things for anyone reading your review. On your initial visit, we were running approximately 40 minutes behind because our medical team was caring for an emergency. We understand that your time is valuable, and we sincerely apologize for the delay. At that time, we explained the situation and also shared that if your pet ever needed urgent care, we would give them that same level of attention. We appreciated your understanding that day.
We are also sorry that you felt the recommended treatment and diagnostics for your pet's chronic allergies were excessive. Our recommendations are based on our medical assessment of each individual patient and are intended to give owners options for providing the care we believe is appropriate. We respect that ultimately you decide which recommendations you wish to pursue for your pet.
Regarding the follow-up examinations, we agree that we could have done a better job clearly communicating that a recheck examination is a veterinary visit with an associated examination fee. While our $1 new-client examination is a special offer for the initial qualifying visit, subsequent recheck examinations are not included in that promotion. We could have made that distinction clearer when we recommended the follow-up, and we apologize for that communication gap.
We were pleased to see your pet again today and, most importantly, to see that she is doing better. Our recommendation for another recheck was made because we want to ensure that her healing continues appropriately as she finishes out her medication course and set her up long term maintenance care that allergic patients need to minimize flare ups not because we want to unnecessarily bring you back into the clinic.
We genuinely wish you and your dog the very best. We appreciate your feedback and will use it as an opportunity to improve how we communicate anticipated costs and follow-up recommendations with our clients.

I had such a positive experience bringing my cat, Fluffy, here. They helped us almost immediately, and everyone was incredibly kind and compassionate. Once we were brought to the back, they patiently answered every question I had—I never felt rushed or like I was bothering them.
Dr. Poche was extremely knowledgeable and took the time to explain everything clearly. It truly felt like the entire team cared not only about Fluffy’s health, but also about what I could realistically afford. A special shout-out to the front desk team for helping me explore financial-support options, and to Dr. Poche for her knowledge and compassion. I’m so grateful for the care Fluffy received!

Dr. Michelle made me feel very comfortable while she was talking about my cat. She answered my questions and even didn't mind repeating somethings to me. My cat had to be put on medication and Dr. Michelle even gave me coupons for the meds.

They are wonderful. My Laddie is loved but that isn't because he is so loveable; which he is. The vets are excellent and their vet techs are excep- tional. Their prices are typical and they offer kenneling but it is best to reserve your dates as far in advance as possible. Recently they came out with a private area that is equipped with a television, and is enclosed for quiet- ness. But that is a bit pricey so my Lad has to slum it in the low rent district. All in all it can be worth the prices, the only negative, are their weekend policy of being open every other Saturday. So in an emergency on a Saturday it is hit and miss as to whether they are open. Also if you kennel your dog there is a 50/ 50 chance if you're able to retrieve your dog or have to wait until Monday to and pay for an extra day, not to mention the your with out your pooch for a couple more days.

We have all vet care here for 2 doggies, one with diabetes and also board them. They are all very nice and professional and treat my babies with the utmost care. The docs and vet techs are great!
The boarding is reasonable if you choose a kennel. I’d love to board dogs in the suite but that price is too high if you figure in your vacation costs as well when you board. Waiting on a sale!!!
Overall a great experience!

Staff was very friendly and accommodating for an emergency visit. The Doctor was professional and thorough in treating my little Chihuahua. I think we've found a new vet home for my little boy ❤️
