Coming here feels like being welcomed into a family. My counselor has walked with me through a very difficult season with genuine respect and care. I never felt rushed, judged, or treated like just another appointment. They listened carefully, honored what I was carrying, and helped me feel safe enough to keep going. The support has been steady, thoughtful, and deeply human—I’m truly grateful.

Biggest waste of $$ ever. Absolutely no help at all after 4 sessions. AI would probably be more helpful Avoid!! I will be more specific. First individual visit with L... in Boerne was OK. Second individual visit with L... by my significant other was Ok. 3rd and 4th visits as a couple we walked out feeling like we were talking to Amazon alexa. No feedback, no suggestions on how to move forward, just repeating back to us what we were dealing with and knew already. We felt like we were being setup for a many thousands of dollars long term, come back next week and "I'll listen to you more" scam. Look, sometimes you have really big problems and sometimes you have a whole load of really small problems. Or sometimes, you just might be in a period of confusion and need an independent third party take on the chaos that is your life. Or there are those occasions when two parties just cannot cleave to themselves because of some issue that is dividing them. Whatever the case, it has been my experience that there can be real help. I like this place because it is not just "Well, what do you think about 'this or that'?" Sure, it is counseling and therapy and you are going to get some of that. But when you are on the precipice of an epiphany and aren't bright enough or honest with yourself to see it ... these folks don't mind giving you a shove to get you there. And God bless them for that!!! If you are considering therapy or counseling and are a bit embarrassed - get over yourself. You can't be more screwed up than me and I put my name on this review for the world to see ... because Jen & Genesis and the crew helped me (and continue helping me) be better. p.s. Good parking! :)

I am not only a client of Genesis Counseling Center but a mental health provider that refers MANY clients to Genesis! This center is staffed with the BEST providers, available to see clients of any age with immediate openings. They are warm and inviting the second you walk in the door.
