I cannot thank Tracy -social worker- for going above and beyond on getting mu husband care from the VA. I have tried for over a year! She is is an asset to your company!

I am very pleased with Gentiva! Macy has helped me so much in finding solutions to deal with my illnesses. She's always trying to find ways to make me more comfortable in my situation. She always goes the extra mile for me. Tracy has also helped in so many ways. They both care for their patients. I'm thankful for them and the other nurses that have seen me.

My wife's father passed away yesterday. Gentiva nurses were exceptional. They were very responsive when we called for help. Loretta was on call after hours and was soooo considerate. We were excited to have Alysha Brunsen as our primary nurse. My wife was her last patient when we had our son 21 years ago. Alysha has a special calling for hospice. She even came out after hours when she was not on call to attend to my father-in-law. I cannot sing their praises enough. I appreciate Jarrod explaing everything to us prior to signing up for hospice. We pray you never need their service. However, if you do need them, I highly recommend Gentiva.

DO NOT GO WITH THIS COMPANY IF YOU LOVE YOUR LOVE ONE! They are absolutely horrible! They are supposed to provide most of her supplies but yet we’re still having to spend a ton of money on supplies that they are supposed to provide. The nurse that comes couldn’t even set up my mother’s feeding tube without calling someone and watching a video. They have provided the wrong feed bags after we’ve told them over and over that we can not use the ones that they brought by and now she can’t even eat because we’ve had to use the same bag for over a week and the line finally caked up from the food. We clean the bag out every single day but you can’t clean the line/hose out. We’ve told them over and over That she needs supplies and they still do not provide. The wound care that the nurse did on my mother was horrible!!! The bandage wasn’t even taped down all the way.. she did it in a hurry like she just didn’t want to be here. One nurse had me check my mother’s blood sugar because she didn’t want to do it. The only good thing about this company is the CNA who has been nothing but amazing! She goes way above and beyond not just for my mother but for us as well. She gave us a pair of her own nurse scissors and gave us a box of gloves. She makes sure my mother is clean and comfortable. She taught us ways to roll my mother so that we can change her and her bedding that makes it much easier. This company just wants your money but not provide the care, services, or supplies that you need. You’ve been warned! I’ve contacted the ombudsman. Maybe they will get them to do what they are supposed to do.

Annette is an awesome nurse. She takes time to really explain things. Shannon is so gentle and loving in helping my mother bath. Tanner is a great chaplain. He is so loving. Always sings to Mom. All of the staff is great. Even the office staff is great in dealing with Mom's long term care insurance.

I can’t begin to say enough nice things about Genteva Hospice. My parents were on hospice at the same time. Dad didn’t get to meet as many people as Mom but he did get to meet their social worker Traci Tallman. They both looked forward to her weekly visits. Dad did lots of farming and gardening in his lifetime and he would share those stories with Traci. After Dad passed; Mom’s needs began to increase. All of the nurses were there to help with those needs. Annette D’Agosta was her nurse on the last months of her life. Annette made sure Mom had a bed side commode and the biggest accomplishment was getting Mom to agree to a hospital bed. Annette always made sure Mom had her supplies and was never without. Annette provided the best care for my Mom. She couldn’t remember everyone’s name so she gave them their own special names. Annette was the nurse from New York, Dreama was the bath girl, Tabitha was that sweet girl and Traci was that little girl. I can’t leave out the chaplains, Mom thought they were insurance salesmen who prayed with her. I am so thankful for each person with Genteva and the friendships that were made. Any chance I get I always tell how wonderful Genteva was to my parents.

I can't say enough about Gentiva hospice out of Morristown. Annette, Tanner, Sarah, Traci and Kristi have went above and beyond! i work private duty as a caregiver and I've never witnessed a more professional and caring hospice company! I would definitely recommend them all! i would give more stars if able! i may have missed a couple of names i can't remember, but they all have been excellent!
