Customers frequently describe the moving crews as punctual, careful, and professional, noting that items are often handled with diligence and returned in good condition. Communication with office staff is generally cited as responsive and clear. However, some lower-rated reviews highlight discrepancies between initial estimates and final bills, with customers reporting unexpected charges for insurance, boxes, or additional time. A few complaints also mention disorganized packing practices or missed items during the move.

We used full packing and moving services with storage. Both the packing team (Paul, Gabe, Javier) and the moving team (Paul, Kevin, Daniel, Gerson) were wonderful! They were friendly, kind, interactive, and diligent. They wasted no time in getting started and worked solid until the job was done.
We used Gentle Giant previously leading us to using them again.

Medical 🏥 office equipment (examination table and stethoscope-otoscope wall board removal) and office furniture completely moved out was pleasantly surprised! I was nervous about the medical equipment they were GREAT hard working with fast careful packaging. Courteous, patient and kind. The office staff and Domonique was accommodating. Always will recommend to anyone! I used them for a residential move three years ago had no clue they were able to move medical Examination tables equipment. Wonderful job!

We used Gentle Giants to wrap and load our furniture into a U-Haul truck we rented. We were happy with their response, communication and professional attitude for the initial phase and when it came to the wrapping and loading we continued to be impressed. Dakarai, Donny and Cameron were awesome. We plan to use them again. They are reasonably priced too.

The estimate was significantly off. The final cost was almost twice as much. The crew worked hard throughout the move. Very professional and friendly crews. Handled everything with the ultimate care. Did a very good job.

Thank you for sharing your feedback, Pedro. We're glad to hear our crew took great care of your belongings and made a positive impression. We're sorry the final cost was so much higher than expected, and we understand how frustrating that must have been. We appreciate you bringing this to our attention and will share your concerns with our team. Thank you again for choosing Gentle Giant.

Thank you for the review! We're glad our team was fast and thorough. We appreciate your feedback and would love to know what we could do to earn that fifth star next time!
I couldn’t be more impressed with this moving company and the entire team. Moving out of a three-floor walk-up is no small task, but from start to finish, everyone was incredibly professional, kind, punctual, and respectful.
The packing team took such great care with every item, carefully wrapping and protecting everything before moving day. The communication throughout the entire process was excellent, and I always knew what to expect and when the team would arrive.
What impressed me most was how seamlessly everyone worked together. The packing team and the moving crew felt like a truly well-oiled machine, and the heavy lifters on moving day worked incredibly hard while still being friendly and courteous. They handled a difficult move with so much care and efficiency.
I’m incredibly grateful to the whole team for making what could have been a very stressful couple of days feel easy and organized. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for a moving company that genuinely cares about doing a great job.

Alison, thank you for such a thoughtful review! We're so glad the team made a challenging three-floor move feel easy and organized. It means a lot to hear that the care, communication, and teamwork stood out throughout the process. We really appreciate the recommendation!
We had the most positive experience moving with Gentle Giant and could not recommend them enough. While it was a more premium price point than what we’ve seen elsewhere, the amount of care, communication, and professionalism was well worth the investment.
Not only did the team handle our items with extreme care, had super positive and can-do attitudes about the move (including climbing multiple flights of stairs with heavy furniture!), they also demonstrated incredible problem-solving skills when little hiccups came up. Thank you to our incredible team of movers - Armin, Kai, and Kevin! You made our move so much easier and stress-free!

Donny, Kevin and Raily were wonderful to work with. They took extra care of all of my items and made sure everything was put back together (sleep number bed, treadmill, etc) and functioning correctly before they left. I wouid definitely recommend Gentle Giant and this crew for exceptional professionalism and care of my home. Dominique in the office was also very communicative and quick to respond. I’m very happy with my choice to use Gentle Giant Movers.
