Google reviewers rate George L. Throop Company 4.5 out of 5 based on 22 reviews, with the owner responding to 95 percent of them. Customers frequently praise the staff's helpfulness, extensive knowledge, and convenient location, noting that concrete material prices are competitive with major home improvement stores. However, some low-star reviews criticize slow job completion times and perceived poor customer service attitudes, suggesting the staff acts as if doing the client a favor rather than providing a paid service.

Used to be a great place to get concrete materials, but they no longer do retail sales to the general public
George , is brilliantly helpful and kind , wish I needed to go there more often.
Hoy venimos a cargar material,el personal es muy amable te ayuda rápido, mucha variedad de materiales
They take too long to do their job ......they need to go to get some clases about customer service ......they act like if they are doing you a favor ....when in.fact we pay for their service ....
Been coming here for years for materials for jobs around my house and other properties. George is a really good man and the guys that work for him are really helpful. Prices are decent and the location is extremely convenient. A yard of pre-mixed concrete in a trailer is about the same price as you'd pay at HD and you dont have to mix!
