We got a pizza before the elverson Halloween parade tonight and the pizza was delicious. We got extra cheese. However, my husband had an issue with the person I guess running the place because he did everything. My husband said he was wearing gloves which is good but was taking money with those gloves then getting the pizza with same gloves all while chewing gum and blowing and pooping bubbles over the pizza..... I'm shocked my husband didn't insist on getting his money back but he did say something to the person. Just saying that's not exactly sanitary. Do better. Also lose the attitude when talking to customers.
I love Giovanni’s! We have been eating here for 5 years and it has only gotten better. Always consistent. Unlike some other pizza places in the area, everyone here is so kind. On the phone and in person. That makes a huge difference. The restaurant itself is warm, cozy and inviting. Prices are very reasonable
The bad reviews are over 10 years old. Because what we experienced was a great dinner and staff. Food was hot and delicious 😋. I would recommend going there to anytime. The food was fresh not from a factory like the more expensive places. I'm from Philadelphia and am very picky about cheese steaks this sandwich blew me away. My wife's food just as delicious and was worth every penny.
As a joke we tipped the waitress all in ones 33 to be exact she was not happy! Oh well! At least we tipped her not like the others out there!
The pizza crust was the best I remember ever having! Airy (fermented 48 hours) and crisp on the bottom. Really remarkable. And the rest of it was very tasty. Surprising to find such a great place in a small town (plus it's really beautiful around here)!
Food was good. Service was good. Ambience was not bad for this sort of place. We have only been there once. I am looking forward to trying some of their Italian specialties.

The family and I dine in often, simply due to the fact that the service is always friendly and engaging! Jesse is always attentive and observant. He's a great asset to the restaurant. The food tastes delicious and chef always keeps it interesting with their daily specials! You have us as customers for life!
PS. Bring back the mussels!
