I shop here regularly, but lately many items have been past their expiration date, and even the packaged bread on the shelves was moldy. I would strongly recommend checking the expiration date of almost every product you buy here

First, there is no proper price tag on almost any of the items. It’s super frustrating to go ask prices or be embarrassed at the cashier to leave the items. Like come on it’s been more than 6 months and it’s still the same. I’m sure they are doing intentionally to not to change cause it’s psychological sales techniques that you don’t really leave at the cashier because of not to embarrass and you have to buy it. Definitely not honest and embarrassing to be a seeing a Muslim shop trying to rip off the people. If I knew the prices at the shelves I wouldn’t buy it maybe. And second, it’s really expensive.. I rather buy from HEB’s international section. And this is my last time going there, there another halal stores that can at least put the right price tag. Also, I realized unfortunately at home, I got coffee from 2025, it’s expired almost 2 years ago and they are selling that. Super disappointing place
I went here for the first time to get pita bread. I will absolutely return to support this small business. The meats looked good. The pita bread was superb; better than Phoenicia (sorry, love you Phoenicia). I am so glad it is in the neighborhood.
This grocery store is very clean and well organized. Very broad selection of hard to find items for cooking middle eastern and Mediterranean food. Great pricing and very friendly staff. It's fun just to browse and find snacks you've never tried before. Definitely adding this store into my grocery shopping routine along with HEB and Desi Brothers.
I really liked this Middle Eastern store. It’s clean, organized, and has a really good selection of products. One thing I thought was really cool was that they had soda from Saudi Arabia made with dates. I’ve always wanted to try it, and it’s not something you see everywhere, so it was nice to find something different and hard to find. The young gentleman working there was also very professional and helpful. He was friendly and made the experience easy. The only thing I would suggest is putting prices on all the items. A lot of things didn’t have prices, and it’s a little inconvenient to have to take something up to the counter just to find out how much it costs. Overall, I really liked the store. It’s clean, the service is good, and they have some unique products.
It’s a nice store where I can find many of the things I’m looking for. Many products don’t have price tags, and some items are a bit expensive. Still, it’s nice to be able to find different things when needed.
Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. We're delighted to hear that you appreciate the variety of products available at our store. We apologize for the inconvenience regarding price tags and will work on improving this. Your feedback is invaluable in helping us enhance the shopping experience for our customers.
Great store! Their meats are locally sourced, and look amazing compared to other grocery stores fresh meats. The prices are great, too. Check them out.
Great selection of Turkish foods!
I want to start by saying that I really like this neighborhood store. However, they advertise one price on the shelf but charge a higher price at the cash register. It’s very disappointing to be overcharged, as it feels like theft.
Thank you for the kind words about the store, and I’m sorry the register price didn’t match the shelf. We carry over 3,000 products, and prices change constantly. A small number of tags fall out of sync, and it’s never intentional . usually the gap is a few cents. The one exception is a misplaced tag, where a product ends up sitting under the wrong price, and that can look much worse than it is. Either way it’s a ten-second fix at the register. Mention it to whoever is checking you out and we’ll correct the price right there and fix the tag the same day. Mistakes happen, and we’d rather hear about them than have you leave unhappy. Thanks for shopping with us.
We were so excited to see this addition to the neighborhood. Wanting to ensure success early on we stopped in regularly. Purchases were typically produce, meat and grains. Each time we purchased cheese it was past expiration, they kindly exchanged it for us, we started checking dates every time after that. Produce didn’t seem to stay fresh long. I think both were because sales were low and they weren’t going through product fast enough. Over time we have seen improvements. Better rotations. They no longer carry fresh produce. The dry foods and freezer foods provide a great selection of regional choices. Butcher onsite for meat. Fabulous baklavas.
