⭐ 1/5 — Very Disappointing Experience! $365 Spent, and the Problem Is Still Not Resolved! I am extremely disappointed with the service I received from this appliance repair company. I paid $365 to have my dryer repaired, trusting that I was hiring experienced professionals who would properly diagnose and fix the problem. Unfortunately, I am now experiencing the same issue again. During the repair, I noticed several things that made me question the technician's professionalism and experience. He repeatedly went outside and appeared to call other people for assistance while working on my dryer. I understand that technicians sometimes need technical support, but the overall experience did not inspire confidence. What bothered me even more was the lack of transparency regarding the replacement part. I repeatedly asked the technician to show me the original packaging of the supposedly brand-new part, but he never showed it to me. The company later claimed that they use only brand-new OEM parts, but I was never provided with the packaging or other supporting documentation. After paying $365, I expected my dryer to be properly repaired. Instead, when I contacted the company about the recurring problem, they focused primarily on their expired 30-day warranty. They offered to replace the same part for free if it was defective. However, if their technician decides that another component is responsible and I decline the additional repair, they will charge me another $75 just for the visit and diagnosis. I find this very disappointing. As a customer, how am I supposed to know whether the original diagnosis was correct or whether the technician replaced the right part in the first place? I am not expecting anyone to work for free. I simply expect honesty, transparency, professional service, and accountability for the money I have already paid. My advice to other customers: Before hiring this company, ask for a detailed diagnosis, verify the replacement parts, request documentation, and carefully understand the warranty and additional service charges. I trusted this company with my appliance and my hard-earned money. Unfortunately, my experience has left me feeling disappointed and dissatisfied. I hope the company takes customer concerns seriously and improves its service.
We would like to clarify the facts regarding your service. During our initial visit, our technician accurately diagnosed the issue, installed a brand-new OEM part, and fully tested the dryer in your presence before you signed the estimate and invoice confirming the job was completed. Our company provides a standard 30-day warranty on parts and labor. Although you reached out 40 days later—well past the warranty period—we still offered to return and replace the exact same part completely free of charge if it was defective. We only explained that if the technician spent time and fuel diagnosing a completely new, unrelated failure and you declined the repair, a standard $75 service fee would apply to cover the visit. We stand by our transparent pricing and quality of work, and our offer to replace the original part for free under goodwill still stands if you wish to schedule a visit.
I called GLOBO about our dryer on Wednesday afternoon. Our technician, Dan, arrived a couple of hours later to figure out the issue. By Friday morning, he’d received the ordered parts and returned to repair the dryer. Based of this experience I’d recommend GLOBO to anyone looking for quick, professional, and affordable appliance repair.
