A dream come true for abandoned doggies. Over 50 acres, beautiful facility and the most loving caring people working hard to rehome these pets. I highly recommend!
Thank you Debra! We appreciate it. Please visit with us sometime soon. We were so very sorry to hear about Ricky.
Amie and the team at Godbey Creek are awesome dog rescuers. Their facility is located on a scenic ranch property, and the dogs have tons of space in their outdoor enclosures. Most of all, they provided a clear record of our new dog's health and vaccinations prior to adoption and, as a result, she is a fantastic and healthy puppy. Thank you so much, Godbey Creek!
Godbey Creek is a great place. The staff really care about their animals. Ms. Miriam is an awesome person to work with too. They took in a pitt bull 10+ yr. old name Boss the owner had passed away he was left outside Ms. Miriam and her staff took him in with all his health problems. I am so happy. They are the Best!!!!
Thank you Jerri. Bossman is doing well and thriving in his wonderful new home. His human mom adores this sweet and gentle fellow.
This is the cleanest, neatest and most beautiful and professional operated rescues I have Ever visited. I was so impressed, I delivered a large box of towels and blankets from Lexington, NC. The staff and volunteers I met were great. Dogs were all clean, kennels were clean and dry. Extremely Impressive.
We adopted our dog Annie from Godbey and they were invested in her suitability for us. She was happy and healthy when we met her. We would definitely recommend Godbey to anyone looking for a rescue to adopt.
We came across Godbey as we started our search for a new family member. We have adopted before and couldn’t have been more pleased with our experience. We adopted a Boone (formally known as Liam) and love this sweet boy so much. He was pulled from a shelter right before he was scheduled to be put down. We are so grateful that Godbey rescued him, took care of him and that we found Godbey. If you are reading this, just know that Godbey does amazing work and we were truly impressed with their work and due diligence in placement.
Godbey creek has been a great experience. They communicate very well and have kept me updated every step of the way. So grateful for all their work, help, patience and kind hearts.
After a stray dog wound up at our house, we tried everything to find his owner. He is a precious boy but we just couldn't keep him. I searched everywhere to find someone that could take him so that we wouldn't have to put him in the Shelter. That's when we found Godbey Creek. After a couple days working with Mariam, we were able to take him to the rescue. It is a truly beautiful place with lots of land and away from roads. The employees clearly knew their stuff and have a heart for the dogs. Mariam has kept me informed on how the pup is doing and I am positive he will find a wonderful home with this rescue working to place him. Thank you SO much Godbey Creek!
I adopted my (sweet precious) dog from Godbey Creek in January and now have a furry pal for life. Everyone involved at Godbey Creek has huge hearts and care so much about finding a good fit for the animals in their care. Their application process was thorough but fair and did not outright exclude a responsible first-time applicant like me. Great experience!
Abundant love for abandoned dogs.
Thank you Ryan! One day and one dog at a time!
