Gold Coast Flood Restorations

I recently used Gold Coast for water damage restoration and mold remediation and in my kitchen in Santee, and I can't say enough good things about them. From the first call, the team was knowledgeable, professional, and genuinely helpful. They took the time to walk me through the mitigation process so I understood what was happening and why, and they helped coordinate the moving pieces at a time when I really needed the support. The work itself was excellent. They were thorough, efficient, and left the kitchen incredibly clean. I want to give special thanks to the owner, Joe, and to Kurt and his team. I was managing this project while taking care of my very pregnant wife, and their patience, flexibility, and understanding made a stressful situation much easier. I'm truly grateful for their help. If you ever find yourself dealing with water damage, I highly recommend Gold Coast. I hope I never need their services again, but if I do, I will gladly give them a call!

I called Gold Coast Flood Restoration and they were able to come out I believe the following day. Joe the owner was there promptly and was able to take care of the damage from a leaky toilet. He was very thorough on checking out where the damage was and was not and wasted no time taking the damaged flooring out and cleaning the contaminated area around the toilet. A massive fan was put in the bathroom that dried everything out and he promptly came back several days later to remove it. He was very professional, efficient, knowledgeable, and very patient answering all of my questions so that I understood what was happening and why. I would highly recommend this company and Joe did everything he said they would do in a timely manner. I’m a very happy customer!

My daughter noticed mold in the corner of the kitchen ceiling. A plumber recommended Gold Coast to me. They spoke to me right away and sent Kurt promptly to examine the damage. While the leak from the plumbing had been slow, it had been going on for a long time, so there was significant damaged, which they carefully noted. Unfortunately, my wife was in home hospice at the time, and we couldn't move on to repair all the damage. However, Gold Coast was able to stabilize the situation with minimal disruption to my wife's care. They returned some months later to finish the process. They have been utterly compassionate, friendly and helpful through it all. They were prompt, diligent, meticulously clean and respectful of my self and even my cat. My house passed mold inspection on the first try. Mold isn't fun, but they took good care of it for me, and I recommend them highly.

Gold Coast Flood Restorations came to our rescue when a fire sprinkler malfunctioned in our master bathroom and flooded the room right as we were about to go to bed. We called them in a panic, and their crew was at our house by 2 AM — no delays, no excuses. They opened up the affected walls immediately and got industrial drying equipment running to stop the damage from spreading before it caused mold or structural problems. What really stood out was how calm and professional they were under pressure. A flooded home in the middle of the night is stressful, and their team walked us through everything they were doing and why. If you're dealing with a flood, burst pipe, or sprinkler malfunction and need a water damage restoration company that actually shows up when you need them most, I can't recommend Gold Coast Flood Restorations enough.

I live in a condo in 4S Ranch in San Diego right across the street from the 4S Commons Town Center. My water heater in the garage had a terrible leak and caused a flood in my garage and water damage into my bathroom on the other side of the wall. I asked Google who the best flood restoration company in San Diego was and it told me to call Gold Coast Flood Restorations. I am so glad I did. The owner, Joe Colombo, answered the phone and was so knowledgeable. He explained to me, in detial, the process and things that needed to happen. He referred me to Black Mountain Plumbing to get my water heater removed so they could do their work and then replaced. Mike Thomas was the technician from Gold Coast that came to my home. He assess all the walls with him moisture meter tool and explained to me, in plain English, what he needed to do to complete the water damage dryout work and a small amount of mold removal. As a single woman, I was very comfortable and at ease with their kind and calm manner. They were not pushy salesmen. They educated me and let me make my own informed decisions. I hope I never have to do this again, but it was so pleasant and refreshing to deal with such a quality company. Joe and Mike at Gold Coast absolutely know what they are doing and took such great care of me and my home. 5 Star service.

I don’t even know where to start. I have used this company twice, but the second time was more incredible than the first. We knew we had a mold problem in one of our bedrooms and possibly in a second but we could not find the source. Gold Coast came out once again, and after giving such great attention to every possibility, they were able to find the problem that we have been struggling with for the last two years. They have been exceptional, honest, economical, and a breath of fresh air to work with, especially in something that has been a challenge to navigate as we had to take apart the rooms, tear out carpets to the bare concrete, etc. They not only found the mold problem and source, but have been the guidance on remediation. This has by far been the best company we’ve worked with in a long time. If you have a problem big or small, you want to call Joe and Gold Coast first. You won’t regret it!

Gold Coast was a pleasure to work with during a stressful time. We unexpectedly found mold behind our bathroom walls in El Cajon and they quickly came out to give an assessment. We found Gold Coast to be very professional, knowledgable and competitive. They walked us through proper remediation and took care that everything was done correctly. Highly recommend.
