Attention fellow veterans: If you’re pushing 50 and your body currently feels like a piece of military surplus equipment that’s been left out in the rain since 1997, listen up. As a 6'1" vet, I naturally assumed I was invincible and that my chronic pain was just a fun personality trait. I was incredibly skeptical about acupuncture—usually, I prefer my medical treatments to involve 800mg Motrin, a fresh pair of socks, and a command to 'drink water.'
Boy, was I wrong. Good People Acupuncture & Wellness completely humbled my skepticism and performed what feels like a total exorcism on my joint pain. I walked in feeling like a rusty tin man who desperately needed an engine overhaul, and walked out floating like a million bucks.
They are the absolute nicest people on the planet and treat you like family, not like a number waiting in line at the VA. Pro-tip for my fellow vets: You can actually get an official Community Care referral from your VA primary care doctor to cover this. Just request the referral for your chronic pain or injuries, name this clinic, and let these amazing folks do the rest.
5 stars. My joints haven't been this cooperative since the Clinton administration, and I no longer make loud, dramatic groaning noises just getting out of a chair.

I cannot recommend Good People Acupuncture & Wellness enough! The whole staff is welcoming!, knowledgeable and professional.
I started treatment in April for hot flashes and left side neck pain and the progress I’ve experienced is truly incredible.
My daytime hot flashes have gone from occurring every 45 minutes to an hour down to just once every 4 hours, the accompanying nausea is completely gone, and I am no longer suffering from night sweats. Additionally, they were able to release a severe, tight knotted muscle on the left side of my neck. Combining their acupuncture treatments with full-body stretching has completely eliminated my left side neck pain.
I am pleaese with the care I have received and will continue this path of treatment to full recovery and maintenance with them. If you are looking for relief and a team that genuinely helps you get results, this is the place to go!

I highly recommend Good People Acupuncture. From the very first visit, Dr. Jung took the time to listen carefully, ask thoughtful questions, and explain everything in a way that made me feel truly cared for. My headache was gone after the first treatment! Not only did my headaches and muscle tension improve, but my digestion is better than before.
Appointments are always on time, the office is calm and welcoming, and the staff is incredibly kind.

My experience at Good People Gaithersburg has been one of the best times I have spent in the US while on holiday, and I am grateful for acupuncture. Besides treating the severe back pain which Dr Jung miraculously helped ease out, she took care of my stress levels & has made it easier for me to fly a long distance back home. The beautifully decorated clinic, the calming environment, the kindness of Dr Jung & all the rest of the staff is exceptional & helps the healing process. I am definitely coming back on my next visit to treat other issues.

The staff are wonderful. I am suffering from chronic back pain due to inflammation of the nerves for years. They're able to alleviate my pain and recover a good bit of my mobility within 10 sessions.

I’ve had trouble lifting my arms for years. After my first session here, I’d regained that lost range of motion, and every session since has made it better! absolutely love this office and staff. Im a new patient thats new to acupuncture who’s been frequenting Good People Acupuncture and Wellness for about 2 1/2 months now for stress related tension headaches, and addressing the knots in my neck, back and shoulders after years of athletics with no PT. every visit has been amazing. Dr. Jenny and her team are so attentive, gentle, and personable with excellent bedside manner. Even with intense needling sessions, they’re very gentle!! My neck back and shoulder knots have improved so much! I will be going here forever. lol.

Deserving of their 5.0 rating... I had painful nerve damage from an auto accident in June. Within a few visits they helped my neck, wrist and back pain that four months of PT could not. This is the most modernized and hygienic acupuncture, and they have immensely improved my chronic issues as well including Gerd, hypothyroidism and carpal tunnel... it's incredible.
