GEMS has been so amazing for my child's development. In the 2 years we've been here so far, I have seen that the teachers are patient, caring, and collaborative. They seem to make learning fun for my child. It's no wonder why they've been around for 35 years! I'm looking forward to enrolling our 2nd kid when she gets older :) Bonus: they probably have one of the best playgrounds I've seen at any daycare. They recently renovated it and it looks great!

There are so many great things to mention about Good Earth Montessori School (GEMS). As you walk down the steps or the ramp at GEMS, you already feel safe and welcome as you approach the administrative staff, Ms. Alice and Ms. Eva and are surrounded by fun and engaging classrooms. The playground at GEMS is very beautiful surrounded by nature and playground structures with plenty of shade and space to play and explore in for all the children. My child started preschool in the orange room with Ms. Julia and she was an amazing and caring teacher. My child took some time in the beginning to warm up to her new school and I remember Ms. Julia always made sure to communicate with me and reassured me that she was doing well. My child has food allergies (eggs and peanuts) and even though I packed her own lunch, she was always accommodating and made sure to reach out to me ahead of time if they had certain snacks or treats for classroom parties. Even though she is not currently teaching at GEMS, she still keeps in touch with all the staff and visits them. My child was also enrolled in the Green Room for Kindergarten at GEMS and it has been a true blessing to have Ms. Courtney as her Kindergarten teacher. Ms. Courtney is a warm, passionate, and extraordinary professional who creates great rapport with all her students and families. She was open to communication every time and shared many special moments and pictures through the teacher-parent portal. She created a learning atmosphere that really set them up for success for elementary school. Ms. Courtney really takes the time to get to know her students well and creates a rich learning environment that is very student-centered and gives them ample opportunities for students to challenge themselves. I truly believe Ms. Courtney is the one who prepared my child for first grade. My child and I always would mention Ms. Courtney's name while we were doing our first grade work and we thank her for teaching her all the fundamentals. And now we are at GEMS for the summer and it feels so good to be back again with all the wonderful staff. They also have extracurricular activities that the students can participate in, such as music, dance, and Soccer Shots. GEMS also provides families with memorable experiences with their classroom peformances and festivities. I cannot forget to mention how the entire staff goes above and beyond to celebrate their students by creating such magical and heartwarming end-of-the-year programs, including the Preschool/Kindergarten promotions. I also thank GEMS for helping us create wonderful friendships for my child and for the parents. We all keep in touch and hang out together. Thank you GEMS for all the precious and unforgettable memories and I am so happy that my child started learning and growing at GEMS. I highly recommend GEMS to families who are searching for a caring and joyful environment. 😊

I can’t say enough wonderful things about Good Earth Montessori. My daughter attended from age 2 through kindergarten, and she absolutely loved going to school every day. The staff is incredibly kind and caring, especially Ms. Eva, who always greeted us with a smile and accommodated our requests. Every teacher, including Ms. Melanie, Ms. Courtney, and the entire team, has been amazing. The facility is always clean, the activities are fun, and the education is truly top-notch. I’ve been hoping for the past two years that they would expand into elementary grades because I would have loved for my daughter to stay there. We are so grateful for the wonderful foundation they gave her, and I highly recommend Good Earth Montessori to any family.

My daughter has attended Good Earth Montessori for about 2 years until she started Kindergarten and now she’s back for their summer program this year. She loves it! She had a rocky start at the beginning but because of the caring and attentive teachers, aides and front desk reps she powered through. They were all very patient with her. Ms. Julia and Ms. Jenny are awesome! She’s currently in purple room with Ms. Courtney and she loves it. Ms. Courtney challenges the kids and makes learning fun. Ms. Jenny changed my daughter’s prospective in school and in the whole program. Ms Jenny was always very attentive, easy to communicate with and genuinely cared about all her students. I will always be indebted to Ms. Jenny because she helped my daughter build up her confidence after a rough patch. The whole staff and front office is very easy to get in contact with and are always available for any questions or concerns. Their mission statement says it all: “GoodEarth Montessori school cultivates the full potential of all our students based on Montessori principles in a caring and joyful environment.” If you’re in doubt or looking for a school/daycare center I highly recommend Good Earth Montessori.

We used to love GoodEarth Montessori. It had warmth, community, and teachers who genuinely cared for the kids. But over the past 6 months, that’s changed. Half the teaching staff quietly left, and management never told parents. No goodbyes, no explanations. Some teachers were even told not to inform families they were leaving. These were people our children loved and trusted, and we were completely left in the dark. That alone was heartbreaking. It became clear that teachers were not being properly supported. Many have to post wish lists just to get basic materials and were told to buy Montessori supplies out of pocket. Meanwhile, tuition went up to go toward “wages and classroom needs”. The math just doesn’t add up. An anonymous (due to fear of being treated different by management) email was sent to the owners expressing these concerns and instead of addressing ANY of the issues, their response focused on wanting to directly hear from the sender to “understand these issues clearly” (the email was detailed and directly addressed multiple issues discussed among parents). I fear they thought it was from a disgruntled staff member, even though the email stated it was from a concerned parent. Things might look "fine" on the surface right now. Maybe they've patched things up temporarily. But when ownership and leadership are unwilling to reflect, communicate, or support their staff, it’s only a matter of time before the same issues resurface.

We had the BEST experience here. Took my daughter here for 2 years (age 2-4) and we can’t say enough wonderful things about this school. The staff here is truly amazing and knows every family member by name. If I could keep my daughter here forever I would

We absolutely loved our experience at Good Earth Montessori School! My son and daughter attended for two years, and we couldn’t be happier with the care and education they received. At the time, we had been moving frequently, and they joined mid-year, so I was initially worried they might feel behind. But the transition was so smooth thanks to the incredibly warm and friendly teachers. Ms. Eva was helpful with explaining everything we needed to know and guiding us through the administrative process. My son was in Ms. Courtney’s Green Room (Kindergarten class), and he absolutely adored her. She’s an amazing teacher—you can tell she truly loves teaching and brings so much joy and dedication to the classroom. We love Ms. Courtney—she is the best! Good Earth is hands down the best preschool/Montessori in the area. We’re so grateful for the nurturing and enriching environment they created for our kids. Highly recommend!

GoodEarth Montessori School has exceeded my expectations with regards to just being a standard daycare institution. This is NOT your regular daycare! My daughter has effectively learned new traits and substantially improved her education here. Not only that but she LOVES the staff and is always happy to go to school on a daily basis. I would recommend GoodEarth not only to Chino Hills residents, but also to all surrounding areas. Thank you for everything and everyone that has had an impact on my daughter's life!

I would recommend GEMS to ANYONE looking for a loving, caring environment where you child can learn and excel with the assistance of the AWESOME staff. Each and every teacher/staff member put so much effort into the curriculum taught, you are going to enjoy seeing your child flourish in academics. Walk in and take a tour, I know you're going to love it as much as we did. Our boys were enrolled at GoodEarth Montessori and both completed Kindergarten at the school with the same staff, which as a lot about the facility!!!

This is an excellent preschool with the right balance of academic and social development. The first time I stepped into this Montessori school I knew it was the school for us. It was so clean, warm and inviting. The staff is very friendly and caring. Our three year old, very outgoing and physically active son attends this school; and we are *very* pleased with the program, his development and his teachers. Each child gets individual as well as group academic lessons in addition to ample play time in a large, beautiful playground. The daily schedule also allows time for singing, dancing and creative/imaginative play which is very important at this young age. Our son has blossomed and grown in ways that we couldn't have imagined, and he absolutely loves his school, teachers and classmates. I would highly recommend GoodEarth Montessori School to any parent looking for a school that will provide peace of mind.
