Seeing my vision come together on our wedding day was nothing short of a dream.
As "foodies", my now husband and I have no regrets in choosing Gracious to cater our wedding. We thoroughly enjoyed the tasting event Gracious offers, which helped us tremendously in finalizing the perfect menu for our big day. The food at our wedding was some of the best we have ever had, and we have received so many compliments from our guests about the catering in general. That truly speaks volumes about the quality of their food and service!
Our personal attendant during dinner was also absolutely incredible. We felt like a king and queen throughout the evening, and the level of care and attention we received made the experience even more special. Gracious also took care of our linens and flatware. Everything turned out beautifully, tying the entire look of our wedding together perfectly.
We are so grateful to Bella and the entire Gracious team for helping make our wedding day everything we dreamed it would be. We hired Gracious for our wedding in Madison, and I'm still dreaming of the food. We had a guest count of around 100. You never really know how wedding food is going to turn out - we've all had the cold, overcooked chicken that bums us out. This was NOT the case with Gracious.
We had a slew of appetizers (including ahi tuna cones, which I still think of daily), each of which were INCREDIBLE. I would honestly have been happy exclusively eating the apps. My friends still bring it up. For dinner, we had a short rib dish (which was insanely good), a pasta dish (which was little disappointing, as it had broccoli instead of broccolini which wasn't what we ordered), and a side of chicken which was delicious (it was NOT dry, it was perfectly cooked).
We communicated with Bella during, who was very sweet and knowledgeable about the whole process. If I remember correctly, they cook on-site which makes a world of difference - no reheating. They also provide wine service, which really ups the ambiance.
If I ever need a caterer for a big event, 10000% I would hire them again. If you're able to book them, DO IT.

Marija, Bella, and the whole team at Gracious is absolutely AMAZING! I am so happy I entrusted my wedding with them. As an out of town bride, it was so nice to entrust pretty much everything to them. They did the catering, the florals, the tablescape. They were also so amazing, along with my wedding planner, in helping guide the vision for the event and make sure the wedding was a true encapsulation of our love as bride and groom, and for our guests and the city of Milwaukee, all while embracing the season as a late-November Bride. I think I had a different idea of what I wanted every time I came into town and met with the team, but the handled my ideas with grace and helped guide everything into a flawless event. Beyond the food, which was absolutely amazing and everyone said was the best wedding food they've ever had, the service at the wedding was amazing and the execution was absolutely flawless.

Marija was an absolute dream to work with on florals and other design details. As for the catering, it was flawless and also a highlight of the evening. Every member of the team was warm, attentive, and made us and our guests feel truly cared for. Guests raved about the delicious hors d'oeuvres, entree selections, and desserts!
Bella was exceptional as our coordinator. Her communication throughout the planning process was spot on, and we felt completely supported every step of the way. She kept the rehearsal and wedding days running right on schedule and made sure no timeline detail was missed. Her communication with our vendors, wedding party, and families was clear, calm, and incredibly professional — every timeline was not only met but managed so smoothly that we were able to be fully present and enjoy the day without stress.
It’s rare to find a company that excels in every aspect of a wedding, but Gracious Events truly did. Their attention to detail, impeccable organization, and warm, responsive communication made all the difference. They created a magical day for us to remember! Holy crap was this food incredible. Like, our wedding dinner tasting was one of the best meals I've ever had in my life. Vesna and Bella were an absolute joy to work with, and the food was somehow even better on wedding day than at the tasting. How they made food taste that good from the field behind a barn with no kitchen I have no idea, but it was literally all anybody could talk about at our wedding. Every single person said it was the best wedding food they've ever tasted by far, and I could not agree more. They also brought out individual plates for folks with food allergies or dietary restrictions, which doesn't seem like that shocking of a thing to do, but its one of the only times I've seen it done at a catered wedding. Multiple guests specifically mentioned how much they appreciated that. Would absolutely recommend Gracious to anyone. I wish I had more of an appetite on my wedding day, because I would kill to have more of their food! I also wish I had more photos of the food, because aside from tasting incredible, it also looked incredible! Not to mention the giant strawberry shortcake they made us as our cutting cake!
