Can't recommend Grand Lake Sew & Vac highly enough. I had a wonderful experience purchasing my Sebo from them and having it serviced by them several years ago. I'm now living out of the area and took my vacuum into a another shop for a repair; they completely misdiagnosed the problem and were going to charge me a fortune for the repairs. It didn't sit right with what I new about Sebo vacuums so I called GLS&V. Fred was so kind in troubleshooting the issue with me virtually and identifying the part I needed. He even followed up with me after I ordered the part and offered to do a call to help me install it. It was a simple, $30 fix! GLS&V offers excellent products and truly exceptional customer service!

I love my Dyson vacuum cleaner, but It's now past my warranty date, so I was desperate to find a good repair shop. And I finally found it one that's not just good; it's great! It's just a few steps away from the Grand Lake Theater. Fred, the owner, and his two assistants, are really, really good at what they do. They are friendly, knowledgeable, patient, totally committed to solving your problem, and as honest as the day is long. And the turnaround time is great! I can drop my machine off in the morning and pick it up that same afternoon. I must admit I was a little worried at first about finding street parking so near to the theater, but it turns out that there's a rapid overturn of spaces in that area, and I have never had a problem finding a space, more often than not right in front of the store. I will NEVER go anywhere else. Highest possible recommendation!

UPDATE: I appreciate the owner's reply to my earlier comment and have adjusted my star rating. However, I no longer have the receipt for the repairs and had my sewing machine fixed elsewhere already. OLD REVIEW: Brought my sewing machine here to repair a tension issue awhile ago. The only evidence I have that anyone even opened it up is that the screw for the needle plate was missing when I picked it up. And it took nearly a month to complete this "repair" job.

Please bring in your sewing machine and the receipt and we will have it repaired again and you can test the machine before you take it back. Sorry for the in convenience.
Great staff! I was helped with purchasing my first Miele and I'm glad I did. The gentlemen at the store were very knowledgeable and helpful and I've gained more insight and knowledge about the world of vacuums than I previously knew. I was overwhelmed with reviews from online so I decided to head over and discuss with the experts. I'm glad I met honest staff who helped guide me to the right product based on my needs.
