Reviewers describe Grapevine Springs Park as a peaceful, historic nature spot featuring paved and wooded trails, picnic areas, and nearby restrooms. While many visitors appreciate the clean grounds, green space, and historical markers, recurring criticisms involve unmaintained trails with overgrown brush and litter. Some reviewers also note a lack of lighting in picnic areas and express frustration with the park's closure on Sundays.

Beautiful nature sanctuary. Lots of shale rocks to see. Meadow with old well and bell. Mix of paved and unpaved paths. Easy to do with kids.
We've been coming here regularly for about a month and they do a good job keeping the grounds pretty clean. There's some poison ivy growing near one of the nature trail entrances. Easy to spot/avoid of you know what you're looking for (leaves of 3...). We walked the tails without any issues.
Parts are beautiful. The trails are not groomed, so climbing over fallen trees and pushing through overgrown brush will be required. Nature has been spoiled by litter and garbage dumping in several areas. If you stay in the historic area, the open field, it's a beautiful experience.
Great local nature spot- trails, beautiful trees, and even some cool historic sites. It's a hidden gem in Coppell for sure!
Grapevine Springs Park is more historical than people realize. There is a Texas History Marker inside the park near a tree where Texas hero Sam Houston brokered a peace treaty with a local native tribe so that everyone could have access to the springs. It’s not a well kept park, but it is a nice place to enjoy a bit a Texas history.
Nice little park, several trails to walk, plenty of shade, restrooms and drinking fountains available, and plenty of parking. Highly recommended for a morning or afternoon walk, green space to play with the little ones, or just some fresh air.
