Everyone was so kind and professional! The whole team worked together well and communicated with me regularly. I was especially impressed with how well the enclosed glass shower was done—I knew that was going to be a tough area, and Ari did a phenomenal job! Special thanks also to Pricilla for being so handy and replacing the toilet seats with new ones I had purchased, because I didn’t know how to. Will definitely be recommending Green Sweep to others!

Thanks so much, Ellie, for choosing green sweep! We're glad Ari tackled that tricky shower and Priscilla could help with the toilet seats. We think Ari and Priscilla are awesome too, and we'll be sure to share your kind feedback with the team. Thank you for choosing green sweep and recommending us!
**AVOID GREENSWEEP – Complete Disregard for Home Security and Terrible Customer Service**
I strongly recommend against using GreenSweep for your home cleaning needs. My experience with this company was incredibly disappointing, not only because of a serious security oversight, but because of how management chose to handle it afterward.
After GreenSweep finished cleaning my home, their technicians left my front screen door WIDE OPEN, with the wooden front door behind it UNLOCKED. I only discovered this because my Ring doorbell notified me of activity when the mailman arrived. Concerned that my home was unsecured, I had to immediately leave work to return home and investigate. When I arrived, the screen door was still wide open, and I was able to walk directly into my house without a key.
I had intentionally left the wooden door unlocked before the service as a precaution to ensure the cleaners could access the house if needed. However, I reasonably expected a professional cleaning company to secure the home upon departure, or at the very least CLOSE THE FRONT DOOR.
What made this experience substantially worse was GreenSweep's response.
Rather than taking meaningful responsibility for the security risk, management emphasized that I hadn't provided specific written instructions to lock the doors. Apparently, GreenSweep believes that securing a client's home requires explicit instructions rather than being a basic expectation of professional service.
I understand that employees make mistakes. My primary frustration isn't with the cleaning technicians themselves. It's with management's handling of the situation. When a company is entrusted with access to someone's home, there should be basic procedures in place to ensure the property is left secure.
After raising my concerns and providing Ring doorbell footage, GreenSweep declined any compensation for the completed service and instead offered a "$50 credit toward a future cleaning". In other words, their proposed gesture of goodwill required me to hire them again after they had already lost my trust.
The response felt dismissive, focused more on explaining away responsibility than acknowledging the seriousness of the situation.
**The bottom line:** If you hire GreenSweep, understand that you may need to explicitly instruct them to close and secure your doors when they leave. And if something goes wrong, don't expect management to take the level of accountability you might reasonably expect from a company entrusted with your home.
I will not be using GreenSweep again, and I strongly discourage others from trusting them with their homes
**UPDATE – GreenSweep's Response to This Review:**
GreenSweep's public response only reinforces my disappointment. They claim to have "owned their mistakes" and gone "above and beyond to make things right." I strongly disagree.
Their original response focused on my failure to provide explicit lock-up instructions rather than taking responsibility for leaving my home unsecured. Shifting responsibility to the customer is hardly owning a mistake.
And "going above and beyond"? Their solution was a $50 credit toward a FUTURE cleaning. How is requiring a dissatisfied customer to give them more business meaningful compensation for compromising their home's security?
**Apologizing while deflecting responsibility isn't accountability, and offering a discount on future services isn't going above and beyond.** Their public response sounds reassuring, but their actions tell a very different story.

Hi Garrett, we're truly sorry to hear you're still disappointed with how things were handled. When you first reached out, our team promptly looked into what happened, acknowledged the mistake, followed up with you directly, and offered a solution. We know how much trust it takes to welcome someone into your home, and we don't take that lightly. While we don't always get everything right, we believe in owning our mistakes and going above and beyond to make things right.
We came back to Green Sweep after some years away to get a Move Out cleaning done, before placing our house on the market for sale. We paid Green Sweep over $750 for the cleaning, plus cabinets and drawers, refregerator, and oven.
I went there today to inspect their work and while much of the house looked good (baseboards, refrigerator), there were many things that I ended up having to clean myself. The top shelves of my cabinets had not been wiped down (the sponge came up black after wiping them down myself, there was visible dust), the tile floors were very streaky, and needed to be remopped, and almost all of the countertops were gritty and needed to be wiped down. The oven did not look like it had been cleaned at all. The window into the oven was brown and streaked with sticky food.
Green Sweep offered to send someone out to clean these areas, but wanted me to text pictures of all problem areas to them before hand. It ended up being easier to just do the work myself than to wait on the cleaners again, show them what was wrong and wait on them in an empty house. As they say, if you want something done right, do it yourself.
Before you spend a huge amount of money on Green Sweep, consider doing the work yourself. You'll know the work will get done, and the results will be up to your standards. And think of the fun you can have with the $750 you saved!
UPDATE: Daisy at Green Sweep called me repeatedly and I finally took her call. She offered me a $150 refund due to our displeasure at the poor quality of work that was done at our house. In exchange, she asked that we change our review and tell what they had done to make it right. I have done so.

Hi Sandra, we're truly sorry the cleaning wasn't up to our standards.
As we mentioned earlier, we offered to return and correct the missed areas, but we understand that it wasn't a practical option for you at that point. Daisy followed up with you personally as a final attempt when a return visit was no longer an option, and made an additional effort to address your concerns and offer a fair resolution.
We know it doesn't change the experience you had, but we do hope it shows that we take responsibility and stand behind our work. We take pride in what we do, and while we sometimes may miss the mark, we always want to own our mistakes and make things right. We wish you all the best with the sale of your home!
Shelby came to clean my one bedroom apt at La Resolana & she helped me cleaning my microwave & oven & refrigerator in the kitchen & my bathroom & changing the position of my magnetic mattress on my platform bed! I had just gotten a new smart? TV & Shelby finally got me to the home page so I could download all the apps! I am so grateful 🙏🏻 🥲 💜🙏🏻🧚🏻♀️💜

I will not use this service again, and I would not recommend it to anyone.
I was quoted about $380 for an initial deep clean price on my 1,226 square foot home, which would go down to closer to $200 for a scheduled monthly cleaning after that. In the end, I was charged $478 after agreeing to a $60 additional charge because the technicians needed more time to "dust and degrease" (which, considering the grand total, doesn't add up correctly).
When I came home to inspect the work, I was shocked. One tech broke the plastic plate off the wall where a thermostat used to be and another not only broke a light bulb in the master bedroom, they bent the fixture.
In the bedroom that my partner and I sleep in, the blinds and windows were not dusted or cleaned and underneath the bed was a thick layer of dust and multiple dead cockroaches.
On top of these things, crumbs still covered the couch, the trash in the kitchen was not taken out, and the postcards on the fridge were sprayed and damaged.
They did not fulfill everything they promised on their cleaning checklist, added a hefty up-charge for unfulfilled additional services, and still, on top of that, overcharged me by $30.
Had the work been stellar, I would not have minded being up- and overcharged. As it stands though, I feel gouged for receiving incredibly subpar service.
What mystifies me the most is all of the good reviews for this company. I put so much trust and faith in them because they seem to be well regarded. So, if you were like me, seeing the good reviews and wondering what could go wrong, I hope you see this review and that it helps you choose another company.
UPDATE:
I was paid $100 for the damages and another $150 for the unfinished cleaning, which I think was a fair resolution.
After we reached this agreement, the company emailed me asking me to take down my review so that we could "both move forward.”
Obviously, I am keeping this review up, and I wish I had seen one like it while I was trying to find a good, quality, reliable cleaning service for a fair price. Green Sweep ticks none of those boxes despite all of the good reviews, which I put too much trust into. Paying for damages and their unfinished work is what they were obligated to do, and the fair resolution we reached does not make me think any more highly of their business.

Hi Gina, we’re truly sorry your experience fell short of expectations. We appreciate you speaking with us directly and sharing your concerns. Our team is actively working to find a solution, and we’ll be reaching out to you again as soon as possible.
I was my husband's care giver for two years, and cleaning was a low priority. I've spent months since his death trying to get the house back in shape, but it seemed like a Sisyphean task. I finally decided that I needed professional help. I couldn't be more pleased with the job done by these two lovely young ladies. The bill came to around $500 which seems like a lot, but if you can afford it, it's money well spent. It is absolutely amazing to finally have a sparkling clean home again. I unreservedly recommend green sweep to anyone who wants a thorough and thoughtful cleaning job done.
