I absolutely LOVE green Toes!! Everyone there is so kind. My two favorites are Cindy and Hannah but you really can’t go wrong. They are all kind and do an amazing job. ❤️ 10/10

Les at the reception desk is lovely. Diana (also lovely) does my pedicure. I’ve been coming downtown for this service for over 2 years now. It’s worth the drive. So relaxing, perfect spa experience!

I started coming to Greentoes last year and it has become my go to. I like that they are environmentally conscious and the staff is always great. My 16 year old son enjoys getting a pedicure there, too!

This was probably the worst manicure experience I’ve ever had.
I chose this salon because of its high rating on Google Maps and booked an appointment for the following afternoon. Unfortunately, that turned out to be the beginning of a very disappointing experience.
The nail technician first struggled to remove my previous gel polish. She seemed inexperienced with the process and filed so aggressively that she hit the sensitive part of my left thumbnail, causing a sharp pain that literally made me cry out.But what happened afterward was even worse. I honestly could not believe how unevenly the gel polish was applied. Almost every nail had an uneven, bumpy surface, and there were clearly visible bubbles in the polish. This was far below what I would consider acceptable for a professional manicure.
I pointed out the problems and asked whether another technician could fix them. What frustrated me even more was that several staff members looked at my nails and acted as though they did not see anything wrong with them. Well, the thing is that it was already close to closing time, it was difficult not to feel that they simply did not want to spend additional time correcting the work.
Although a more experienced technician did redo several of my nails eventually. However, as the photos I posted show, the final result was still extremely disappointing. By the very next day, the gel on my thumbnail had already cracked, and another nail had developed a noticeable raised bump.
I still left a tip because I did not want to deal with any confrontation over the tip for being the only Asian face in the store.
I have had manicures in many other places, and I have never experienced workmanship this poor. In California or many salons I’ve visited in Asia, a result like this to be corrected properly or refunded—rather than treated as though nothing was wrong.

Painful filing, uneven polish, bubbling, and premature cracking fall far below the standards we hold ourselves to. Furthermore, having your concerns dismissed—especially near closing time—is completely unacceptable.
We also want to directly address how you felt during your visit. Our salon is proud to have a diverse, multicultural team, and we are committed to providing an inclusive, welcoming space for clients of all backgrounds. Discrimination or bias of any kind has no place in our salon. It is distressing to know that you felt singled out, uncomfortable, or pressured to tip; every client deserves to feel respected and valued in our studios at all times.
You should not have had to pay for a service that failed to meet basic quality standards. We want to make this right by issuing you. Please contact our Spa Director at [email protected] with your appointment details so we can remedy this for you immediately.
