Incompetent technician, horrible customer service!
Earlier this year, technician told me I have a leaky back-flow valve. It needs to be rebuilt. I have been using greenway for years. I trusted them. So I don’t even think much, just told them to go ahead do it. They charged me over $600 for this service.
Later, town of Cary came to certify my back-flow valve. They told me the back-flow has a cracked housing. It needs to be replaced completely. Greenway charged me over $1600 for this job.
I communicated to the customer service for a refund of the earlier $600 charge which did absolutely nothing to resolve the leaking situation. They refused, saying they don’t warrant the installed parts. It’s not even the parts they installed having the issue. The technician totally misdiagnosed the issue and provided a service which is completely unnecessary and didn’t resolve anything.
Greenway abused my blind trust to them. Taking advantage of a situation, overcharged me and refused to correct themselves. Think twice before you use them. I will stay away from them. There are plenty competent and honest people who can do a much better job.

Zach, we understand your frustration with needing a replacement after the earlier repair, especially as a longtime customer.
The original repair addressed the internal components of your backflow device. No crack was visible in the housing at that time. A housing crack can sometimes become apparent only under pressure during testing. The cracked housing later identified by the Town of Cary was a separate issue from the internal components we repaired and required replacement of the device.

My interaction has been with irrigation service manager and also the billing manager. After many emails/attempts for a mid-season check at my home they basically ghosted me. They have rescheduled due to rain (completely understandable) but also apparently showed up out of the blue on a different day when no one was home. I've made many attempts to reschedule they have not responded and that was months ago.
I haven't received an invoice yet so I have no idea if the price is good bad order normal. I wanted to come and leave a review for the technician who did our work today. His name is Hector Yanez. Hector did a wonderful job. He is very organized, very thorough, and has good communication skills with a pleasant personality. I was very impressed with him and his work.

Worked with Greenway for installation of a yard irrigation system. Our yard border was complex and the team did a great job with planning and installation. The communication was not consistent and I wasn't sure when the crews were starting or stopping by (no notice), until I asked the company to let me know when they would be working. Not entirely proactive on communication but once highlighted they kept me in the loop. Irrigation system is amazing!
Anthony on the pre/post install team was awesome! Super professional in mapping our yard and very open and patient to then explain the system and how it works.
I'd work with them again and recommend (just make sure they keep you in the loop on communication)

Excellent work! My sprinkler system was serviced by another company for several years. After some time it was obvious they were clueless. I have since used Greenway for the past year. Their technicians are excellent - and they warranty the work! Anthony has been especially good and helpful in repairs and problem solving. He is friendly and courteous and also really knows his way around these complicated irrigation systems. I feel like I am in good hands when he is working on my system - which was put in 20 years ago and needs attention. A big 👍!

Gentleman who replaced timer very responsive and nice. But misjudged the price by about half. Extremely overpriced with what we could have gotten elsewhere
