Reviewers frequently highlight the shop's honesty, reasonable pricing, and friendly, professional communication, noting that staff often identify issues accurately and avoid unnecessary repairs. Many customers appreciate the quick turnaround times and the willingness to accept customer-provided parts or handle walk-in vehicles. However, several low-star reviews describe significant delays in service completion, with some vehicles held for weeks, and one instance of alleged dishonesty regarding uncompleted brake work.

Just found out they did not replace my brake pads in the front when my car started wobbling I took it to another place and they were rusted out beyond belief... So apparently I was lied to at this place!
These guys are true professionals! Courteous, efficient, and got my car repairs done quickly. They were happy to use the parts I provided and kept everything within budget. They even took care of a few extra things along the way. I really appreciate everything they do and how they stand by their customers.
An absolute gem! These folks are honest, hardworking and do it right the first time! Honest to the point where I needed some work and they told me it really wasn't necessary. Absolutely recommend you go here and will absolutely be back if I need anything. Pricing is reasonable as well!
THE mechanic to go to around these parts. Please be patient as he’s constantly over booked however if you do have patience it gets resolved without further issues and at a more than reasonable price
When you usually visit a repair shop, the impression is often that you’re taking someone away from their job to address your issue. With Greg’s auto, Jeff will treat you as a guest visiting his home. Very friendly, attentive, and professional, as many others have stated, his honesty and repairs are top notch. My 2010 Outback sounded as if it was on its last legs. My son heard my car with its death rattles, shook his head and reminded me I bought this car when he was in high school. He’s now 35. I made an appointment, and dropped it off. When I told jeff I was taking Amtrak back to NY, he was so nice to offer to drop me off at the station. It seems my heat shields were causing the noise, and had to be ordered and replaced. I retuned a week later after closing, and even though jeff had already done a lot of work on my car, he was fine with me paying later. I picked it up at night, drove it to my home in killington, and returned the next day to finish the work. I asked him to check the differential fluid, and he said it was fine. No change needed. That’s honesty! Jeff and his staff did amazing work, my car sounds new, and the cost was much less than I expected. Thanks Greg’s Auto. You have a new loyal customer!
