Always the best! Paul and his employees are top notch. Greggerson's Cake Cottage signature almond frosting is what this bakery is known for, no doubt in that. I and my family have been ordering our cakes from Greggerson's since they were in the little building in Alameda. Thanks Paul!

We had not had the opportunity to order a cake since we moved to Chicago. They made our wedding cake in '81. My Mom just turned 88 so I called orded sent pictures all was good. Pick up wa scheduled for Saturday at 12. In all the cooking prep I completely forgot about the cake at 2:58. My husband and niece flew in the car arriving at 3:08. Thankfully they were waiting for us. The cake was absolutely beautiful and so delicious.
They were able to be gender reveal cupcakes day of and it was only $15! Cupcakes were amazing.
The staff was friendly and the cakes are beautiful. Unfortunately my family and I found the frosting to be way too sweet. I purchased a strawberry cake and it tasted like cherry. The frosting was almost like 2 inches thick and unbearably sweet...even for us that love sweet treats.
This place smells amazing and tastes even better!!! Come by an try the flavor of the week, their cookies are amazing, great local place that is an absolute must!!! I want my next birthday cake from here!!!

I bought my daughters 36th bday cake there it turned just as I ordered it….however…it had to much almond extract or almond flour…I’m sorry to say it was too much and unfortunately my daughter nor my guest didn’t like it at all and neither did I…I was so disappointed because it was such a pretty cake but that was it…I had a lot left over and had to throw it away…btw I also purchase a few other small treats because they looked so yummy and they to tasted the same…but they do beautiful work and are very pleasant ladies
The pastries are tasty, but the service of one particular woman was not appealing. Now I know why they don't have visual prices on their products, so that when you go up to the counter she can raise the price. I was very disappointed when I bought a small cake for $25, when I had just bought one for $20 this same month of July. The woman said "oh this is strawberry, these are $25" when I had told her I had bought the same one at $20, her response "they charged you wrong" the ones for $20 are the vanilla, chocolate and marble. But how was I supposed to know if they're not priced. Very disappointed with the shady woman, I don't think I'll be going back. I miss the previous owners!!! I'll be going to Marinas German bakery their cakes are better
