Absolutely loved Deborah at GreyHaven. I am a new bird mom and was nervous to leave my GCC, Theo, for the 1st time, but after touring the facility, it was clear that Theo would be in excellent hands. And he was! Deborah updated me with videos and photos while I was gone, which continued to put me at ease. She takes great care of her boarders! We will definitely be back!

Best experience consistently. Could not be happier with my experience at GreyHaven. My first exotic boarding experience was with a Red Footed Tortoise, Fantasia. A sudden need due to a family emergency was a first positive experience for me. I needed help right away and for a while. They had great accommodations including fresh diet, correct temperatures and safe habitat for her with oversight one needs for a tortoise. I have been taking my SunCheek conure, IBIS, for regular boarding about 3 years now. He gets so excited to see Deborah and he is not usually friendly with other people. It’s obvious he gets his needs met and is clean and comfortable. I have found Grey Haven to be the only facility I trust for my pets.
McTabish, my Yellow Naped Amazon (47 years old) always receives excellent nail and beak trimmings from Deborah. Deborah always gives great advice and I know she deeply cares about animals. If I ever have to board McTabish, it will be at Greyhaven.

We found GreyHaven Exotic Pet Boarding when our Avian Vet retired last June. We drove 1 1/2 to meet Deborah & tour the facility. Never have I been so completely comfortable with leaving my African Grey with someone. You can see the love she has for her boarders. And, the care provided is exceptional. The drive is long but knowing my boy is well cared for is worth it.

I have never boarded with Deb. However she helped me acquire my bird. She regularly checked in on him after I got him. I know she truly cares for the animals in her possession. I genuinely respect her and think she is one of the best people I have met in the industry.

Deborah and her long-time helper took marvelous care of Miss Prickles. I had to travel not long after Miss Prickles had a hind leg amputated. Prickles wasn’t fully recovered yet, but Deborah was totally reassuring, checked in with me every day, and took the absolute best care possible of Miss P. I would not trust my exotics with anyone else. Where else can you have a zookeeper take care of your zoo for you? To know that my girl was fed a species appropriate diet, at appropriate hours (nocturnal), cage cleaned, and her enrichment swapped out every day… it allowed me to travel without fear.

Deborah is amazing! I boarded my marmoset and tamarin with her several times. She treats these babies as her own. Also very knowledgeable, taught me a few things. I would 100% recommend her for exotic boarding needs. I just wish she did dogs!

My guinea pigs love going here! I have boarded them three times and they are always well cared for, and I have gotten funny pictures of their sassy selves. Deborah’s prices are the best around by far and the care she provides is second to none.
