Beautiful park and enjoyed walking the boys scout trail up to the observatory building, and we parked on the street which was free and the walk was very easy for someone who walks daily, the views of Hollywood are spectacular on the way up and at the top you can take photos of the Hollywood sign and city and visit the Observatory building for free.

It's an element of the LA area that should be visited. Horse rides, walks, park and the Observatory which is a must.

Beautiful park with amazing trails both shaded and sunny. Take your pick of environments and you'll find them here. Ample parking in most places. Ferndell can be a bit of a challenge to park on the weekends

Ese es un lugar maravilloso en el cual pase un rato súper agradable ya que tiene una vista impresionante de todo el downtown de Los Ángeles y de Beverly Hills La belleza de este lugar es única gracias a su ubicación en lo alto de los montes de Los Ángeles California Desde este lugar también me gustó porque puedes disfrutar de lo que es la señal que dice Hollywood en las montañas Aparte de eso sí te gusta la hiking esto es un buen lugar en donde puedes comenzar también a caminar hacia la señal que dice Hollywood o en sus alrededores en las montañas.

Came in September and the weather was cool. It's near the Griffith Observatory and worth walking around. Stop by at the cafe nearby and just chill there. Great place for entire fam

Very clear view during my visit. I have been to the place 4-5 times in the past 30+years and 10/05/2026 at 4 pm was the most clear day in my experience. But the main building was closed on Monday and most of the rest area were fencing off for an event in the evening. So we left quickly without much to see Please be aware there is a $15 parking charge per hour near the top. You could park the car for free at Griffith Park, either walk or take the bus up.
