Wow… I was very disappointed with our experience. I love coffee, and my sister loves matcha, so we were excited to visit. I frequently visit coffee shops and was so excited to see one open in Newport News. Unfortunately, both drinks were a letdown. The only latte size available was a very small cup—smaller than a Starbucks Tall. My latte was mostly almond milk, despite having four shots of espresso, and for the price, it felt more like a Dixie cup of milk than a proper coffee. Similar to previous reviews tasted like mainly flavored milk. My sister’s matcha was even more disappointing. It came out almost completely white with barely any green color and tasted primarily like milk. It was also served in the same very small cup. I asked if larger coffee or matcha sizes were available since they had larger cups for refreshers and other drinks. For a coffee shop, it was surprising that larger sizes weren’t offered for coffee or matcha. Also, drinks came out lukewarm warm:( My sister politely asked if her matcha could be remade, and the employee kindly offered to do so. However, the employee and another person in the shop seemed to struggle with figuring out how to use the matcha grinder and prepare the drink. That really made me question whether matcha should be on the menu if the staff isn’t properly trained to make it. The drinks were expensive for the very small portions, and unfortunately, I ended up having to go somewhere else afterward to get another coffee. On a positive note, the shop itself is very cute and the atmosphere is great. I really wanted to like this place, but the drinks, portion sizes, and overall customer service were disappointing. I rarely ever write reviews but this was highly disappointing. Hopefully, they’ll consider offering larger coffee and matcha sizes and making sure employees are properly trained on the drinks they serve. Maybe the employee do not know the proper proportions coffee vs milk? Overall, I wouldn’t recommend it or return based on this experience.

Love this place! Great coffee and great atmosphere!

My sister and I had a day full of errands and we were excited to try a new coffee shop. The staff was so friendly and personable. The atmosphere was like no other and the playlist? PERFECT. It is a great place to study, work, or just hang out and enjoy some coffee. You can truly see their heart and how much love they pour into what they do and it really touched our hearts to see how open they are to serving and loving people so well! If you have a chance to visit, I HIGHLY recommend.

This is a FABULOUS Coffee Shop and centrally located. I thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere, customer service and most importantly the FOOD & COFFEE!! These ladies went above and beyond to ensure the group I was with was satisfied. I will be back again❤️

Such a wonderful coffee shop! The atmosphere was warm and inviting, the coffee tasted great, and the Christian music playing in the background was an unexpected plus. The customer service was phenomenal and made the experience even better. I’ll definitely be back!
