Groundworks

We had Don Lester come out to inspect our encapsulation and dehumidifier efficiency. He did an amazing job asking clarifying questions to ensure everything was inspected and measured thoroughly. He was punctual, polite, and had excellent communication skills. In the end, he was able to map out our home and come up with an effective plan to resolve some issues we had with our foundation and made sure I understood everything clearly before and after his inspections. Thank you so much Don!

Over all, everything went well. The job was under estimated. There ended up needing to more additional jacks as the initial estimate did not cover all areas with issues. The guys that performed the work were very nice, professional and courteous while on site. Did great work and resolved the floor issue. The only issue that I did have was the time they arrived to start work. I expected them to begin first thing in the morning's and put in full days of work to complete the project and not fitting in other jobs. The communication of arrival should have been better since I did take off work specifically for this job to be done. I was given a time of arrival and they did not show for several hours later. Again they did excellent work over all. Just need to work on arrival time and communication in my opinion.

After interviewing two other men whom I would not even trust to water my flowers, I found Dan Rubenstein with Mountain Valley Foundation. What a gem of a professional! He showed us photos of our crawl space problem, explained the restoration thoroughly, and even gave his time and expertise in a follow up phone call. We are quite thrilled. It’s impossible to find a more knowledgeable and thorough professional.

Will S., Ober L., and Mason T. were great!!! They were professional, personable and answered all our questions. The quality of work was top notch. Would highly recommend.
