Grout Works of Northern Illinois, Inc

Kris did an excellent job on our home. He got rid of all the nasty mildew and mold that had accumulated over many many years. Really made our bathrooms look brand new. He does the work old school. All by hand. He also sealed our floors and kitchen grout worked. We have a family member who is very sensitive to harsh chemicals and Kris went out of his way to ensure he found a suitable product that worked for our project and our family. And all at an affordable price!

Amazing experience! Great communication and such great work! Will definitely hire again!

I honestly couldn’t recommend Chris at Grout Works more. He came out to re-caulk my bathroom and did an absolutely fantastic job. The quality of his work was excellent, but what really stood out to me was how much he genuinely cared about doing things the right way. He went above and beyond by taking the time to educate me on how to properly maintain the caulk, what to look for, and even showed me how I could do it myself in the future. You don’t come across that kind of service very often anymore. He was professional, knowledgeable, thorough, and clearly takes pride in his work. I’m extremely happy with how everything turned out, and I’ll absolutely be calling him again for future projects. If you’re looking for someone who does great work and actually cares about his customers, I highly recommend him. Five stars all day!

Kris is a true professional, this is our second time hiring him and it won’t be our last. We’ve used Kris twice now, and both experiences were exactly what you hope for when hiring a contractor. He quoted us promptly, got us on the schedule within two weeks, and showed up on time, which honestly already puts him ahead of most. This visit he recaulked our master bath, tub, and sink area, sealed our marble, and refinished our kitchen countertop grout. Everything looks brand new. The quality of his grout and caulk work is genuinely impressive; clean lines, perfect finish, no mess left behind. Yes, he’s a one-person operation, but that’s actually a feature, not a limitation. You’re getting the expert every single time, not a crew of varying skill levels. If you have tile grout repair, caulk replacement, marble sealing, or kitchen or bathroom grout restoration on your list, stop looking, Kris is your guy. Highly recommend for anyone in the Elgin, IL area needing professional grout and tile work.

Kris does excellent work at fair prices. We have had him work replacing grout in our kitchen and bathroom shower as well as doing a full cleaning of our walk-in shower and glass shower door. We are pleased with both jobs. My walk in shower looks brand new!!! I highly recommend this business.

Kris did an amazing job! He replaced the caulk and cleaned the grout so my master bath shower looks brand new again. He also did a tub/shower combo along with cleaning 3 tile floors. He was very prompt for the appointments and very easy to work with. I would highly recommend him and would call him in the future. Thanks Kris!

Kris just did amazing work on the showers in two bathrooms. The grout and caulk were failing and he came by to do a thorough estimate. He is extremely professional and thorough, explaining the entire process and what could cost more or less versus his estimate. We were very happy with his estimate and his workmanship was fantastic. My wife and I don't want to use the showers because they look as good as new. I highly recommend Kris and Grout Works of Northern Illinois. Dave from Glen Ellyn

Kris did a truly outstanding job for us! He cleaned and sealed our 20yo natural stone tiles in the bathroom, and now they look absolutely brand new. He also replaced the old, worn caulk in two showers and sealed the limestone tile floor on our front porch, which had never been professionally treated before. The results exceeded our expectations. He also gave us valuable recommendations how to take care of the tiles, so they can stay in a good shape for a long time. Kris was punctual and respectful of our space. He worked efficiently but never cut corners. You can tell he takes real pride in his work, and it shows in the final results. We’re so happy we found him and will absolutely be calling him again for future projects. Highly recommended!

They did a great job. It's getting them to come out for my own touch up. I even offered to pay. I have been waiting since may 5th and no response
