I recently toured this center and have been debating whether to leave a review because I can see the school has a lot of potential and several teachers seemed engaged and caring with the children. My concern was with the tour itself. April seemed unfamiliar with the school and didn't appear very enthusiastic about giving the tour which made the experience feel less welcoming. I wanted to share this feedback because first impressions matter and I believe a more knowledgeable and enthusiastic tour would better reflect the quality and potential of this center.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We truly appreciate you recognizing our center's potential and the care and engagement of our teachers.
We’re sorry to hear that your tour experience did not reflect the welcoming and knowledgeable environment we strive to provide. We understand how important first impressions are, especially when families consider a place for their children. Your comments regarding the tour are valuable, and we will use them as an opportunity to improve how we introduce our center and communicate the quality of care we provide.
We appreciate your honesty and hope you’ll consider visiting us again in the future so we can provide you with the experience you deserve.
Our child was enrolled at GHM for approximately 3 years and just recently aged out. We had a positive experience overall and appreciated the care and attention our family received. The staff was kind, communication was good, and it was clear they genuinely cared about the children. We’re grateful for the time we spent there and wish everyone the best!
We have 2 kids enrolled here and have for a few years now, we love this place. It has gone through some transition with owners and directors over the last year, but we think overall it is at it's best right now. The teachers and staff are wonderful, caring and patient with your child, they serve healthy food and adapt to your child with any request or change that you have. We are fortunate to have them enrolled here and able to be interacting with such great teachers and staff!
We’ve been at GHM for about two years and have transitioned my daughter through four classrooms. We LOVE it here, mostly for the teachers! Every single staff member greets me and my daughter by name and she lights up when she sees them! That’s so reassuring as a new mom. They put thought and care into everything they do. My daughter has grown and learned so much! She comes home every week with new words, sign language, and skills that I know they work on during the day! She has a food allergy and the team takes great care to make sure she only gets food from home but is also included and cared for during mealtimes. We get detailed updates and pictures throughout the day, too. The teachers take time to check in with you at pickup and drop off or message me if there is something up. The communication is really great! We are so happy here!!
The teachers at GHM are wonderful - we had the best experience there. Our kiddo struggled at the beginning and they took a lot of time and care to ensure her success! We had to move out of state, but we would highly recommend GHM!
We’ve been at GHM since my daughter was 3 months old and we’ve had nothing but a great experience. The staff is friendly and always welcomes us with a smile and a good morning. My little one sometimes has a hard time saying goodbye in the mornings and the staff handles this well and helps to make the drop off as easy as possible. When I come to pick her up, she doesn’t want to leave. The center is clean, the teachers are friendly and we’ve had great experiences with the assistant director, director and owner. Highly recommend GHM!
We love and trust the team at GHM! From the unwavering trust in the teachers and staff, the engaging activities, meticulously planned schedules, and fun community events, every aspect is surpassed by the exceptional care and attention our kids receive. Bre and Zayra's patience and sweetness with our 7-month-old since he was merely 7 weeks old, Maranda and Kayla's interactive and playful approach, even amidst a bustling group of kids, are just glimpses of their incredible patience and dedication. You can tell they love what they do! We cannot express how impressed and happy we are with them in addition to many others; Alex, Linda and Tammy! What's more, their knack for understanding our kids' preferences, calming them, and recognizing their need for rest showcases an extraordinary level of care. Even in moments where dropoffs become too difficult because your little one does not want you to go. Kayla and Maranda are so helpful intervening, calming and redirecting them in such a caring manner. Seeing our oldest grow into a social butterfly, embraced by friends who know her by name, speaks volumes about the nurturing environment. We especially love the teaching of space, sharing is caring, and teeth are not for biting! The best feeling is seeing our oldest surrounded by friends she loves to play with. We've experienced another daycare with our oldest and have heard of other parents' experience with other daycares and can honestly say GHM has them all beat. Jesse, the owner, is very much present there and has the children's best interest at heart. He has been incredibly accommodating and helpful during our time there. Alycia and Jessica are very responsive and do a great job of communicating any concerns.
To the staff at GHM, thank you for your love and care of our children! You are all incredible at what you do and we appreciate it everyday.
Our family has an infant and a toddler at Growing Hearts & Minds. We have been here over a year now and are very happy. Our children are very happy, and we see that. My wife and I have witnessed, for several hours one day, how classrooms operate simply because we care who takes care of our children and other children. Our children received the same amount of care and service as the other children while we were present. We had no complaints. This is not the cheapest facility, but it's certainly not the most expensive.
Let us discuss what you really want to see. Have we had to address some things here and there? Sure. What do you ask and how often? One child was getting frequent diaper rashes at home and at daycare. We spoke with the manager and the teachers and requested cream be applied and she be changed more regularly than typical. We asked that when she starts to get red the same occur. This service requested was met with action, we did not have to ask twice. The same thing was true with our son. As one's child progresses to different classes you have different teachers. A friendly ask or reminder goes a long way. Our daughter also was not napping very well and was completely drained when she got home for a few weeks off and on. We spoke with the teachers about our concern, and they collaborated with us on what they noticed and moved her cot during nap time. Problem solved. What is my point? This place is filled with good caring people who want your child to succeed and thrive. We have and continue to see BOTH children thriving. As for staff changes, there have been some, but I would like to see an example where that is not the case. It certainly is not astronomical. Like you, our children would not be here if they weren't being well taken care of. We have yet to bring one issue all the way up to the owner due to lack of action with 2 kids in 2 different classes.
Why five stars:
1. Our children are thriving and are happy here. My daughter gets excited to go and play with her friends.
2. Our children are being cared for with no reason to show otherwise.
3. Our simple asks of the staff are being met with action and not talking points.
4. Breakfast, Lunch, and snacks are served daily. This is a massive convenience. (Some do not do this, and yes, some do not even offer a fridge for the food you bring like our previous facility)
5. The hours of operation are very helpful in accommodating our work schedules, both for drop off and pickup.
In closing, sorry for the book, but if I am going to write a review, I want to give a useful one to other families looking for details they would be curious about for their children. Would we recommend Growing Hearts & Minds? YES, no hesitation!
We have had our two kids at GHM over the past 2 years and have experienced the infant room through preschool. We have had such a great experience during this this time. All of the teachers and management staff have been amazing (extra shoutout to the infant room teachers!). We have experienced other daycares in the area and GHM has been the best so far. Our kids come home happy every day and are excited to go back the next.
We experience three rooms (infant through toddler) with our daughter at GHM and the caregivers are amazing! We are moving and so sad to leave this place because she has such a great connection with them and the other kiddos. The price was also reasonable compared to other facilities.
