Is Gutierrez Mechanix any good?

Being down to one car with two kids is stressful enough, but David and his team make the whole process completely stress-free. They are incredibly honest, completely transparent about pricing, and they never try to upsell you on things you don't need. They understand how critical your vehicle is to your family,…

These guys are E professional, fast, and affordable! Highly recommend.

Was passing through San Angelo on a trip and had my skid plate come loose on the way and called them got me in quickly and was super helpful. Definitely recommend.

My dad told me when I got to San Angelo find a good mechanic. So far this is about the best I’ve seen. It’s been in and out of the shop quick, he’s pricing is phenomenal, and he’s who I’d recommend to new comers or passer bys.

My son had an issue with his car and I called David and he got in the following day and had the problem solved and fixed the same day without trying to add extra issues. Would definitely recommend for all your mechanic needs!!

I took my car to David, and he was incredibly professional. There were no surprise costs or unnecessary repairs. As a woman, finding a reliable auto repair service can sometimes be challenging, but I felt completely at ease with no pressure at all.

Super fast & friendly and personal great group of guys. I will be recommending to friends and family.

Very knowledgeable and reasonable prices every vehicle I have I bring here because of their top tier professionalism

Gutierrez Mechanix are the best! They go above and beyond to keep our vehicles on the road!

My wife’s transmission was acting up on her Tahoe a couple weeks ago, we pulled up to Gutierrez Mechanix and sure enough it was going out. David himself handled her claim through her warranty and had her back on the one in two weeks tops! Most of that time was timeframe to ship the new transmission!! I like that…

Did an amazing job and at a fair price… would recommend!

Definitely recommend! Fair, honest, and he got our daughter's car taken care of the same day we called. Very polite and helpful.

I cannot recommend Gutierrez Mechanix enough. I needed a complete transmission rebuild, and while other shops in town wouldn't even touch the task, Gutierrez and his team stepped up and took total charge. Throughout the entire process, they went above and beyond by keeping me constantly updated. What really sets…

I had such a great experience with David Mechanix Shop. They are very family oriented and make you feel comfortable the moment you walk in. Words cannot express how grateful we were to find this auto repair shop! My son is a student at ASU and works part-time at a local grocery store. He called me panicked last night because his car was dead. It would not stay on even after having it jumped a couple of times and he needed to get to work. We immediately…

They helped me out when every other shop was giving me the go around or didn't know what was wrong fair pricing and knowledgeable people. Owner was very friendly and had me in and out of his shop in only a few hours.

These guys took care of my little brother so I went back for my truck too and I will def be going to these guys from here on out. Best in town and good looking mechanics too. They don’t disappoint at all! 💋👏☺️

I’ve had 3 vehicles of mine and referred many family members to Gutierrez Mechanix and we have never left disappointed! From basic brakes to shocks and struts to basic oil change to timing belt to head gaskets! Of course my favorite was when David and his crew modified my Tahoe by tuning it camming it and dropping…

Gutierrez Mechanix are AMAZING at what they do. I took my truck in on Monday they told me what the problems were, they had it fixed and my truck was running great. I can't thank David, Elton, Seth, Ryan and Jesus enough. They noticed one of my coolant hoses fixing to bust and they fixed it so again thank y'all.

No matter how big or small the job you will always be taken care at Gutierrez Mechanix!! I love that the job is always done correctly!! This is the only shop we will ever go to because the quality of work is amazing and we never have to worry if its done correctly or not.

Awesome shop, the owner was great very helpful after installing parts he ran a diagnostic because it was still misfiring, and found the 1 part was no good out the box, he informed me called the place where I bought the parts and had a new one dropped off in less then 20 min, he made sure my truck was running…

Had bought a car for my mother in law and it was giving us issues that I myself couldn’t figure out what it was called up Gutierrez and asked to get a diagnostic done and he got me in and told me what was wrong with the car all I have to say is David is a humble and honest down to earth man and shop owner and…

Really nice experience with Gutierrez Mechanix the last couple of days. I tentatively scheduled an AC inspection by phone and had repairs done the next day at a very fair price, quickly, with a warranty to boot! Nice shop, with a cool urban vibe and friendly employees. The owner gave me a ride to and from the golf…

David and his crew are great. Today I called him about a company truck that was down and he had it repaired and delivered back to us the same day. We used him a few months ago on another truck and it has been running smoothly since he repaired it. He has also looked over 3 personal vehicles. He knew he could not…

David and his team are quick and trustworthy! I have always used them to fix my vehicles and they have always been great at getting my car in and out and a timely manner. David is honest and puts his heart into the work he does. Thats why I will always choose Gutierrez Mechanix and definitely recommend!

One of the best diesel mechanics in the area. And the owner made sure that I was listened to and made time to have my truck looked at. My truck had been to 2 other shops in town and neither could fix the problem. And these guys diagnosed and fixed it in 4 hours!

Cannot say enough good things about David & his team at Gutierrez Mechanix. I brought my nine year old truck in for a lifter job, and came out with what seemed to be a brand new pickup. Honest, quality, and service-oriented would be the words I would use to describe David’s shop. Very grateful for his help on my…

Fast service. Friendly staff. Best in San Angelo

Thank you for coming out to help. Mr. Adame was very greatful for you checking his car and letting him know his options. You coming to our location was a blessing for him since he was feeling sick.

This shop truly went above and beyond when our truck fuel pump went out. We had it fixed and back in our hands same day! I am so very grateful someone suggested them to us! I would give a million stars if I could!

If you are ever in the San Angelo area and in need of a mechanic, I HIGHLY recommend these guys! We were visiting our son and the water pump went out in our car.
