I booked an introductory call with this CPA and stayed on the call for the entire scheduled appointment time, but the CPA never showed up and I never received any message explaining what happened. The scheduling system had sent me several reminders beforehand, so I was definitely expecting the appointment to happen. I also tried calling the office number twice during the scheduled time, but both times I got an automated message saying there was an error and the call couldn’t go through. I understand that things come up, but simply not showing up for a scheduled appointment without any communication is pretty disappointing, especially for a professional service where communication and reliability are important. The fact that I couldn’t even reach the office by phone made the experience even more frustrating. Unfortunately, this just isn’t a good first impression for a CPA I’d be trusting with something as important as my taxes.

I’m sure Kelly’s time is valuable, and so is mine. After several email and text reminders about our introductory call, plus an email from my end during our scheduled time, my partner and I were surprised with a no show. No heads up that the meeting was canceled, no communication during the call’s time, and no communication after the fact up until now. Things happen, but transparency and respect for other people’s time are appreciated!

I hired this firm for relatively straightforward personal and small business tax preparation. Unfortunately, my experience was marked by repeated communication and responsiveness issues. Two years ago, I submitted all requested documents and a signed engagement letter in early February, yet my return was not completed until I followed up in early April. More recently, there was an error involving ACA tax credit documentation on my return. After discovering the issue, I made multiple phone calls and sent several emails over a two-week period without receiving any response or acknowledgment. I understand that tax season is busy, and delays can happen. What I cannot overlook is the complete lack of communication when there is an unresolved filing issue affecting a client. Professional service firms do not need to be perfect, but they do need to be responsive and accountable. Unfortunately, that was not my experience here, and I have decided to move my business elsewhere.

I scheduled a consultation through the firm’s online booking system to discuss a complex tax situation and received confirmation along with multiple reminders leading up to the meeting. However, no one joined the call at the scheduled time. I waited for the full duration and attempted to contact the office shortly afterward. After following up multiple times and allowing 48 hours for a response, I did not receive any communication. While I understand that unexpected issues can arise, the lack of follow-up or acknowledgment was disappointing. I value reliability and clear communication when working with professional services, and this experience did not meet those expectations.

Haas CPA has been an outstanding accounting firm to work with. They’ve saved me at least $100,000 on my taxes, which speaks volumes about their expertise and attention to detail. Their team is extremely punctual, always meeting deadlines without any issues, and they communicate clearly and consistently throughout the entire process. It’s rare to find a firm that combines professionalism, responsiveness, and real results the way they do. I highly recommend Haas CPA to anyone looking for reliable and effective accounting services.

Apparently this company does not want my business as I was trying to explain to them and get a better understanding of their price, he goes we have a “$7,000 dollar a year minimum” and hangs up the phone. Kelly has a nasty attitude. I am pretty sure I paid more than 7k on my taxes last year.

I called 5 different tax places to ask a question. This individual who I believed was HAAS, CPA answered all my questions without the runaround or hoopla. I REALLY appreciated that ❤️. When speaking to someone and in the first 10 seconds they give you more information than the days of research I did, it feels ecstatic. So efficient!! I can really appreciate efficient people.

Very unresponsive.

I HIGHLY recommend this firm. Kelly is incredibly knowledgeable about taxes, genuinely loves his work, and I learn tons of new things that save me money every time I talk with him. If I could give six stars I would.

Kelly is great! Friendly, personable and most importantly, knowledgeable. He answered all of my tax questions pertaining to my small business and confirmed I was setup and doing things properly, so I don't have to worry about the Uncle Sam knocking on my door. Highly Recommend!
