The absolute best place in Ohio to get authentic German beer. The food is outstanding as well. Boris and wife run an excellent business and hope they continue to serve the wonderful community they are in for many years to come.

We were so disappointed, we were looking forward to eating here. They aren’t serving food, and are barely serving beer. Don’t waste your time.
The site reads that they are open, but they are not. Moreover, I stopped in their store next-door yesterday, and she said that they would be open. I really wanted some East European food....especially the cherry strudel. And fwiw, I was there at 5:35 pm. I'm extremely disappointed! I travel here annually and will not try again!

These folks are authentic. We go for lesser-known beer varieties, bratwurst (made in US but correctly) and spaetzle.
Stopped here for dinner and a few pints- food was delicious and so was the beer brewed in house. Will definitely eat there again next time I pass through Cleveland!
I can’t praise Hansa enough!! We had an absolutely phenomenal experience here enjoyed every bit of the wonderful food and tremendous beer! The Maibock was a great hoppy brew and the Black Flag deserves all the awards it has won. The pork schnitzel was outstanding and had the perfect crispy crunch you want. The potato pancakes and pretzels are perfect starters as well! All topped with amazing service and a phenomenal experience. Can’t wait to go back!
Definitely have different hours than what you might expect for a brewery but have great in-house made brews, authentic German food, and friendly owners. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of everything.
